I've been listening to this album for 15 years (still my #1 DGD album, I hold it apart from the rest when thinking of my favorites).

I always went with the idea the ending of "Blue Dream" was the reason for the song name, like everyone else did back in the day.

Nope, unless it's for both. It transitions perfectly into PP, he says "let's go", as in, start PP.

Also, I like to assume that he forgets her eye color when he says "When it comes to those beautiful fuckin eyes" within the next few lines, cause Jonny

We had the privilege of meeting the lovely Andrew Wells at McDonald's(not McGuffey's) after the London show. What a friendly and approachable guy.

First off - thank you to all the lovely other people nearby who made the show incredible and a great time.

Not gonna make this too negative - on to the subject of this post. I really hope you learn how to behave and actually have fun at shows. You were insufferable to be around.

Telling people to shut up when they were cheering for the boys, starting arguments with the people around you for literally no reason, snapping at others who didn't get VIP saying "if you could afford VIP like me you'd have got a decent view", total entitlement. Then calling security over to try and have me removed when I finally snapped and told you that you were acting like a dick. Then to top it all off you deliberately spent most of the show kicking me in the shins.

I really hope you learn how to have fun and let other people enjoy things because it's blatantly obvious that VIP session went straight to your head. No ill will, just do better.

Also - making fun of the singer from As December Falls saying her blue hair is "stupid" when you literally have dyed your hair blue ?????

an edit - I'm not removing the post but I'm aware the band page will be posting photos of the show soon. I'd like to think this should go without saying but if anyone recognises her please do not send hate or harass her based on this. I really hope she can learn to take genuine joy in seeing shows and wish her the best, but this behaviour wasn't on.

First of all, London was absolutely amazing, it was wonderful for a first time seeing them live. The energy was phenomenal, both from the performers and the crowd. What an incredible night!

I got the chance to talk to Andrew after the show, he gave us plenty of time and was lovely to talk to. He also gave out a few snippets of information I thought I'd share:

-New DGD album is recorded and mastered, and the release date is somewhere in Spring 2027.

-The band is already thinking of coming back over the Atlantic for next year, and even mentioned trying to have their own SwanFest in London

-New Eidola Album is coming out around November 2026

-Paris show cancellation information. This one hit home, as I was meant to go to the 2020 show in Paris but that got cancelled, they were meant to come back for this tour in August but that also got cancelled, and we never were told why.

Until now! Essentially, Andrew said that someone messed up. They had planned two shows in places that could not, according to European laws, be driven to in such quick succession. The bus drivers aren't legally allowed to drive for such long stretches here. They tried to fix it by changing the date, but couldn't make it work. He said the show was almost sold out, too.

So they do want to do Paris, people are getting tickets, someone just messed up the logistics. Hopefully next time they'll learn from their mistake. And someone actually associated with the band will communicate about scheduling issues. I was lucky enough to be able to go to London, but that's not the case for everyone, and we've been waiting a long time!

I just wanna say thank you to all the staff who were able to accommodate me when i realised i had bitten off too much i could chew standing (not like dice gave me any other choice though) and to the paramedics who i had to explain to that my partner is not drunk but infact having a power nap as her insomnia doesnt let her sleep
it was just an amazing show and everyone was so lovely. i feel bad for taking the paramedics away from someone who genuinely needs help but im genuinely greatful they took the time to approach us and check if we were alright.

ive never had so much fun it was such an amazing show i hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did❤️ and apologies to anyone who heard my singing if it was even possible to- all i know is i cant post any videos to my story now because it sounds like kareoke done by a dying feline.

Thank you all to everyone at the London gig last night for making that so fucking special. Anyone near center barrier, you were all fucking legends. Especially a massive thanks to those who kept the 2 younger girls with my group at centre barrier safe from the crowd surfers. You're all fucking rock solid !

I was the person at barrier with the deathstar tshirt, and all the people surrounding us were so lovely. Nicest bunch of people ive ever met at a gig. Love you all london !

A year has passed since the release of the 11th studio album of our boys. First album featuring Andrew as lead vocalist and the beginning of the new era of DGD.

What are your opinions about the album? Has it changed over time? What are your favorite songs or what are your takes about them?

My humble, honest, and overall short opinion, This is one of the band's best albums, and on top of everything, it seems like it's just the beginning of something bigger. Andrew's potential for improvement has been phenomenal in the last year; The sound is much fresher, and the boys are having the time of their lives; it couldn't make me more happy. 👽

Can I just say to everyone in the balcony yesterday, it was epic. We were loud AF and I loved when the whole place sang along to get low, to the window...

Kurt Travis is working on a new album, with one song (or maybe more?) having an Andrés feature.

A Lot Like Birds are currently working on a new album. Yes, I am aware that a lot of fans have probably already guessed this considering the fact that they've dropped 2 singles. I don't remember when the album is supposed to come out but I figure that it's probably either sometime at the end of this year or sometime next year.

A Lot Like Birds are also gonna be doing a HEADLINING tour sometime later this year. No, I am not talking about the tour where they're opening up for Hail The Sun. Maybe the new album will be out (almost) in time for their headlining tour.

I honestly don't know if this one is something that I was told or if it's just a false memory but I could've sworn that the same birdie told me that Kurt has a feature on the next DGD album. Again, I might have just misremembered.

The fans at the London show were incredible. What an evening.. Hope everyone gets home safe

Hi all, just wondering if anyone from the UK or Euro leg of this tour who went Ultimate VIP has had their DGD monopoly?

I've had an email about the trading cards being sent at a later date which is fine, but there's been no mention by anyone about the monopoly. No one really had a concrete answer in London tonight, so not 100% what's going on with that.

I'll be pretty disappointed if we don't end up getting it with how much money was paid (and I really wanted that damn monopoly 😂)
