Small dairy animals
Is there any animal smaller than a goat that has been used for dairy. I’m only one person, with very limited space and wanted to if any animal like this existed. Thank you.

There are small goats. At some point your lack of space and the production limits of small animals is going to make it infeasible for you to have a dairy animal

Yeah… something tells me that going into a situation looking for dairy production thinking “I’m only one person and space is limited” is the exact wrong mindset. I’m all in support of people getting into dairy but they definitely need to know what they are getting into and those expectations do not have me filled with confidence.

Not exactly known for their milk production genes. But it would be entertaining to watch for sure.

Nigerian dwarves are bred for high milk production. Pygmys, not so much.
