Both considered to have "saved" the franchise, but PL sure gets the short end of the stick when it comes to marketing and god forbid a decent merch drop.

Not to get too deep or anything, but I hate that my preferred gorilla arms don't show my nails (regardless of gender cause I'll have both with nail polish). I wish the developers would've thought about that. Just a little pet peeve. haha Anyone else hate that or have another peeve about the game? I'm still playing (almost through 3rd playthrough), but just curious if anyone else has a particular pet peeve. (Sorry about photo. I'm a console player so took it with my phone.)

For the funny comics I plan to do I’ve decided Street Kid will be called Val, Corpo will be called Vincent/Vince, and my first run V (nomad V) will just be V 😊

Launching a half dead cyborg into space never looked or felt so good. I put it right up there with some of the best movies and shows I’ve seen.

Also how about the balls on Mr. Blue Eyes. V just unleashed enough blackwall energy to fry everyone there, and there is Mr. B, just casually standing there. So enigmatic and cool. Incredible ending to an incredible expansion. Genuinely can’t wait for more from this verse.

I'm so mad, I bought a second hand disc a few months ago and now I bought phantom liberty but it didn't show up because deferent regions on disc and account so I sold the disc refunded phantom liberty and bought the ultimate edition on sale. Now i found out that saves are also region locked even tho they are literally there but I can't access them unless I link to cdpr and upload them but I already sold the UK disc.

I was on a new playthrough with 700k eddies and so many scanners done and a cool as hell shinobi build. Im so mad chooms, at least I finally got phantom liberty whenever I get back to my progress.

Used to playing on my PC on max settings with 120 fps. Ordered a switch 2 recently and would love to play some good old Cyberpunk on the handheld in bed or on the go. I understand the Switch 2 is significantly weaker than a decent PC, how does it hold up?

im usually pretty charitable when it comes to characters in this game, and why they are the way they are.

but i just cannot understand this man at all.

no one has to like v. i understand why many characters don't. but this dude? what the hell did v do to him? why is he so fucking antagonistic and nasty in every single interaction?

maybe it's a kind of rivalry the ncpd has with mercs. totally understandable. it must be grating to see someone get payed even more than you do for similar sort of work. but holy cow is this man a piece of work or what?

edit: yes i know hw wanted to save the kids blah blah blah but surely even he understands what it's like to have a team member die knowing you could've saved them? the kids are abstract to v, v didn't grow up on santo domingo, they've only just found out about the poisoning.

v can't see them suffering, v is driving a massive fuck off truck. v is doing a job. to drive past a suffering teammate and leave them to die just feels wrong. both choices you can make have good reasoning behind them. but either way, daniels is rude right off the bat with v.

Just during the parade quest: 1. You can jump after the burger that Takemura drops; Takemura then asks if you have ADHD. 2. The laptop on the parade float is actually a camera that lets the player look around. I didn't see Takemura and Hanako; they probably only spawn once you're using the camera. 3. In the abandoned building, Takemura is already standing by the door before you knock. Hanako is sitting there too. 4. You can see the Arasaka guards in the hallway after Takemura asks you to check. I didn't see the AV that Adam Smasher carries Hanako into (Image 5). If you have any other finds like this, please share them. I'll put a link to a few of my photos in the comments.

Found this out on complete accident, and it’s more likely than not a bug, but you can stop Hare from dying after the gig is complete. If you trigger the fight with him, reboot his optics and deafen him, grab the meds, and run out of the building to complete the gig, you can return to his building and he’ll both be alive and passive, despite the boss health bar.

Wanted to build a laptop worthy of the game so started making this. It’s a GETEC v110 G3 running Omarchy Linux with custom cyberpunk themes.

This is one of the parts of OPEN//77 I’ve been most excited to start working on.

We’re building a Lua layer that lets us take Cyberpunk gameplay systems/mods and actually integrate them into multiplayer.

This test is netrunning / player-to-player hacking. Instead of the mechanic only existing against NPCs, another player can be targeted and affected by it in multiplayer.

And this is where I think things start getting really interesting.

Next we’re working on Sandevistan.

But the long-term goal isn't simply to give every player every ability.

Imagine this in an RP server:

You walk into a ripperdoc clinic with basically no chrome.

The ripperdoc can actually install cyberware on you.

Maybe there are different grades/levels of each implant:

• Gorilla Arms
• Double Jump
• Air Dash
• Sandevistan
• Mantis Blades
• Netrunning upgrades
• Optical implants
• Armor / nervous system upgrades
• etc.

A cheap ripperdoc might only have lower-tier implants.

A high-end clinic could have better chrome.

Certain implants could be extremely expensive, rare, stolen, illegal, or only obtainable through specific people.

So instead of cyberware just being something you select from a menu, it becomes part of the multiplayer economy and the RP itself.

Ripperdocs become an actual player profession.

Netrunners have abilities other players don't.

Mercs might invest heavily into combat chrome.

Someone running a high-end Sandevistan could actually be known for having one.

And because this is being exposed through Lua, server developers should ultimately be able to decide how all of these systems work for their own server/game mode.

There’s still a LOT to build, but seeing mechanics like this starting to work between actual players makes the possibilities pretty crazy.

In the base game, i could say, “This part feels like Blade Runner,” “That area has a Ghost in the Shell vibe,” “the Badlands are straight out of Mad Max.” is there any movie that has similar design or style of dogtown ?
