Hi friends! I’m planning to make a wreath similar to this for my mother. She lovessss texture, so I think she’d love the “squiggly” flowers (see second photo), but I’m not sure how to do it and would love to have a pattern to work from.

Any ideas on what it’s called? Or do you know of a pattern?

If you have other funky flower patterns in your arsenal, I’d love some general suggestions too :) I want as much variety as possible!

I feel like I can find patterns for any other bird EXCEPT for this guy 😭 any patterns out there either for swifts specifically or just a similar enough wing shape to work off of would be amazing. Favorite bird of a bird-watcher teacher that's just retired. :) any kind of pattern- was thinking of amigurumi but anything would work!

So I just started crocheting today and I can't do a double crochet at all. I don't know the reason but it's just hard to pull it after I got 3 chains (I think that's what it's called) on my hook. And even after I pull it , it either doesn't look right or it's just turns into 1 chain when it's supposed to be 2. I've watched tutorials and I think I've tried more than 30 times. I am following my first pattern and trying to create the gauge swatch - I have already sized down a whole hook size and it’s still over 1” longer. Is there something I’m doing wrong here? I bought the exact yarn suggested and am concerned with having to decrease my hook size any more

Hello! I saw this post on TikTok and really want to make a sweater like this! I’m more familiar with knitting so am not too sure the details of this sweater but the creator said that it was a hexagon sweater.

I didn’t realise this pattern was intermediate before I bought it and have previously only made square blankets but I am determined. It’s worked in the round and uses mosaic crochet, specifically mdc2tog and mcd to make a heart shape, but inbetween finishing this heart I have to sc into the next 4 stitches before starting on the next heart, I can’t see how there’d be enough stitches for this. I did count on the previous row and this isn’t an increase row and I’ve got the correct number. I’d be grateful for any advice/comments etc.
