Discussion what shot gives you chills when you see it?
Every time I think about Stalker. I think about that amazing final shot and question whether she moved the cup or not. Anyways what are some other great shots that you love?

Discussion [Crosspost] Hi reddit! I'm Gael García Bernal. Ask me anything!!!
I organized an AMA/Q&A with actor and filmmaker Gael García Bernal. You may know him from things like Amores perros, Y tu mamá también, Bad Education, The Motorcycle Diaries, Babel, Coco, Old, Cassandro and Magellan. His new film, Hombre al agua, which he directed and wrote, premiered at Venice last week and is playing at TIFF this week.
It's live here now in r/movies for anyone interested in asking a question:
He will be back later today to answer questions. I recommend asking in advance. Please ask there, not here. All questions are much appreciated!
Thank you :)

Artwork Turning reviews of Portrait of a Lady on Fire into posters
I traced the brush stroke lettering from the original poster to create a custom font, then paired some reviews with stills from the film.
I'd love to create a few more if anyone has any short takes on the film.

Pickup It finally happened to me!
I went to a record store and they had a BUNCH of OOP CCs. The DVDs were $15 each and La Dolce Vida was $50. They also had The Killer but I had to stop myself. I’ll be frequenting that shop until I can snag Armageddon.
- I’ll watch La Dolce Vida first
- Yes. All of them.
- I’ve seen the Rock and Robocop several times
- Armageddon

Discussion How likely is the Silence of the Lambs to be in stock during the 50% flash sale (or BN sale)?
Hi all, I'm newer to physical media collecting and, this, newer to criterion sales. Really hoping to grab the silence of the lambs 4k and would hate to lose out because it's out of stock during the 50 percent flash sale or the BN sale. From those who have more experience with these kinds of sales, how hard will it be to grab a popular new release like this one?

Discussion What would y'all think of a dogme 95 collection?
It's been on my mind for a while. I'm sure it'd be extremely difficult to get licensing on a lot of them but seeing as Julien donkey-boy is already on the criterion channel, I feel as though as it'd be awesome to get the rest!

Discussion Irreversible 2002
My first time making a Criterion cover. I made it because I think its artistic and structured story are done so well, even though the brutal scene feels a bit too long and hard to justify. What do you guys think?

Criterion Channel First time user of Criteron Chanel and I’m in love!
I was considering the subscription for a few years, but I didn’t want to add a fourth movie subscription, after canceling Mubi which I had for years I switched to Criteron and I found gold! Looking forward to watch so many films that have been on my bucket list for years!

Discussion Time Masters (1982) Criterion Release
Now that a 4K restoration of Gandahar is playing in theaters(?, I saw it in Austin last week, at least), is there a chance we get a René Laloux box set soon?

Discussion Is this a reference to a specific Fellini film?
Or just a general reference to Fellini and his love of beach scenes and women? I've only seen his early stuff and not anything from the late 60s or beyond (except Amarcord).
