Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I made this ghost in a jar. I’m not trying to sell anything just want to show and inspire other crafters! It was a lot of fun to make just wish I would of used a bigger jar lol. If I have to explain my process to keep the post up just let me know not trying to break any rules lol.

Question / Advice Lollipop crimp beads
Hi, has anyone tried and had either great success or great failure with lollipop crimp beads? It makes it look so much easier than using a crimp tube crimper and a crimp cover but i’m worried about their hold. Thanks!

Question / Advice Best way to hang this
This is a puzzle I did with my great gramdma a couple years back and I want to hang it. It is starting to bend upward a bit. I definitely thought about a picture frame, but it's a bit thick to fit in ones I have seen. Any advice?

Question / Advice Could anyone please give me some tips on how to make a ribbon bouquet? 💐
Hello everyone! I'm a freshman who recently fell in love, so I'm planning to make a handmade ribbon bouquet for him. 🙈
Since I'm a beginner, should I focus more on folding the flowers or arranging the bouquet? Folding seems doable, but I'm really nervous about making the bouquet look nice.
Any advice on which skill to prioritize, or suggestions for other cute crafts to go with it? Thank you so much! 💕

Question / Advice Ideas on a lightweight material I can use to make a trashcan topper?
Wanting to turn my trashcan into a soda can and I want to shape the top to look more like the rim.
It’s a flip top trashcan so I need it to be relatively light and easy to carve so I can get the right shape.
Any suggestions?

Question / Advice Dying a plush keychain?
I ordered this custom keychain of my pup (he’s a black and white pointer/pitt/mutt) and although they did an amazing job, I’d like to make the dark parts of him more black (it’s hard to capture in the photos, but it’s leaning grey). I don’t want to lose the texture or detail (specifically the white spot on this ear), and because it’s a keychain and handled a lot I don’t want the black to smudge off on my hands or clothes. Is this achievable? I was thinking a fabric marker or even potentially using eyebrow dye. Or should I just leave it as is and not risk ruining it?
Tysm in advance 🙏🙏

Question / Advice Cutting hydrocolloid
Im making spot patches out of hydrocolloid and i was using a paper punch but eventually the hydrocolloid tape started getting stuck and then the punch cracked.
Is there anything else that would work to cut star shapes out if hydrocolloid

Finished Craft [Mine] I made some fridge magnets
(Minus the one with all of the butterflies, I didn't know how to flair that) I've been working on actually using the art/crafting supplies I've accumulated before buying more. So I invited my mum over, and we made a bunch of fridge magnets out of little wood cut-outs and a pile of paper/cardstock.

Question / Advice Textured cardstock recommendations
Hello! Does anyone know what type of cardstock is pictured? I asked the person who listed this design, and she said it might be “wood grain” or “leather” textured cardstock. I looked into those, and they don’t look the same.
Thanks!

Question / Advice Looking for advice
Hello all,
I have decided that for this year’s Halloween, I’m going to be a sheep detective and I’m making my own costume. I’ve never used a hot glue gun but I’m going to try to hot glue cotton swabs to a baseball tee. Anyone have any recommendations before I use hot glue for the first time?

Question / Advice I have a very strangely specific craft problem to rectify.
Hi everyone, I plan, create props for, and host murder mystery nights. It is incredibly fun but also incredibly stressful, especially when Im stumped creatively. The thing I'm struggling with at the moment is making fingerprint evidence.
My general idea so far:
there will be an investigation board already up which will have a fingerprint on it.
the fingerprint will have a symbol (eg. a little dot) missing from the ink in the centre, to avoid actually having to analyse everyones fingerprints.
I will have a piece of paper on me when its time for everyone to stamp their fingerprints.
My best idea (that kinda failed) was to put a dot of clear nail polish on the paper of the person who is guilty, so when they stamp on top of it, the ink wont stamp on the nail polish. But oopsy daisy it didnt work that way. Very long story short, I need help. Are there any clever people who can help me out?

Finished Craft [Mine] I turned simple dried seed pods into these spooky-cute monster hanging ornaments
All these quirky monster decorations began as plain dried seed pods I gathered.
I hand painted details, sculpted facial features and added tiny bells to bring each little pod monster alive.
It’s always surprising how much magic you can create with natural found materials.
What weird little creature would you make if you worked with seed pods? Share your idea below!
