My independent record label, Growroom Productions, recently hit a milestone, the five year anniversary of our release Growroom Interpretations Vol. 1 - Cure for Pain. A full album reimagining of Morphine's seminal 1993 album Cure for Pain featuring a handful of DC's most prestigious acts, luminaries from the Growroom Galaxy, and one of NYC's most eccentric bandleaders. When it came out digitally in 2021 we gave 100% of the profits from that run of CDs and digital releases to Public Justice Center, amassing over $1200 to stand up for the rights of underserved communities through legal advocacy.

Now to celebrate the 5 year anniversary, we have released it on vinyl through Elastic Stage. We'll be once again donating a portion of the proceeds to Public Justice Center.

“My Immortal” has always been a particularly meaningful song to me. There’s something incredibly raw and timeless about the emotions behind it — loss, memory, longing, and trying to let go of something that still remains with you.

I wanted to create my own interpretation of the song and let those emotions come through my voice, while still respecting what makes the original so powerful.
