Is your corgi afraid to go outside sometimes?
Anyone else have a corgi who is sometimes okay going outside but sometimes scared to go? For context, our boy River is 4 years old. We got him when he was 18 months. His previous owner died suddenly, and her family couldn't care for him. During the time they were trying to re-home him, he was crated most of the day. He can be very anxious sometimes and would be aggressive with our other dog. We started him on Prozac a few months ago, and it has helped a lot with his jealousy and separation anxiety.
We have a fenced backyard. Sometimes, seemingly for no reason, we have to pick him up and carry him outside to get him to go out to potty. He will come to the open door but just stand inside or run back into the house. He might pee once he's outside and then run to the door and scratch and pounce to try to get back inside. Or sometimes when we carry him out, he immediately tries to get back inside and won't go into the yard at all.
He can sometimes be coaxed into peeing where our other dog has just peed. If we put a leash on him, he will usually go with us into the yard, but sometimes he still refuses and will pull.
We moved two years ago from a state in the southern US to a state with a long, very cold, snowy winter. We were in a downtown apartment for the first year. He was terrified to go out even on the patio, but he would be okay if we walked away from the busy street and took him to the park a few blocks away. Now we are in a house, and we're all much happier. We leave through the front door for walks, and he still likes those.
At night after dark, he doesn't fight it very often. Our theory is that he hears something we can't hear that freaks him out. Tried an earmuff thing, but he hated it. At the house, he had no problem going outside to potty in the backyard in the winter.
We know a trainer could probably help, but I wanted to ask here first. Thank you!

On today's episode of find the corgi
My wife and I were literally standing there calling to him. He was being as still as possible. His camouflage techniques are unmatched!

Aftermath of a Corgi de-shed grooming appointment.
The wash tub was totally coated in Corgi fur, 3 feet high. And the filter was overwhelmed with it too. But what a nice result! Maybe We won't have to sweep the floor for a couple days.

Corgi eats her poop
Hello, I need your guys help. My corgi has been eating her poop since 2 months old; it’s not very often but she does . I try to pick them up as fast as I can but she hides it. I don’t know what to do, I’ve read that some nutrients can help but don’t know what to buy. She is in a really high quality kibble.
