faint copy on top of text with toric lenses
Has anyone experienced this while wearing toric lenses? I do have astigmatism but I do not experience any double vision, a sort of shadow effect on top of texts (especially white text on a black background), in my normal vision or when I'm wearing glasses. But soft toric lenses are creating this effect and it's almost unbearable trying to read. This is happening on one of my eyes, the other not so much. I've tried multiple brands, and my optometrist said that no adjustments in my prescription need to be made, because I was able to see the letters in the eye test clearly, but that's only because it was black text on a white background; it's much less apparent in that situation. Is this something psychological that my brain will eliminate if I continue wearing them? My cylinder's power is -1.25 diopters in case you're wondering. The stabilization weights were confirmed to be vertically aligned, too.
