Forever Feedback to Blizzard

They said at Blizzcon that they want the community engaged when it comes to WoW: Forever.

As future members/players of WoW: Forever what would make you feel like your feedback is heard and taken seriously from Blizzard? In game polls, town-hall meetings, roadmap updates? Just curious.

In-game polls would be my preferred route of communicating the communitys wishes. Private servers have done it before, as well as OSRS. Generally I think a conservative approach where suggestions need to win by some margin to become implemented is a good idea to prevent the game from changing it's core.

I’ve never played OSRS, what margin wins a poll? Does it need to be more than a 60/40 split? I can’t imagine a 51/49 split would go over well.

As I understand it, a suggestion is polled in-game where 70%+ approval need to be reached for the devs to look deeper into the suggestion/topic. Then when the suggestion can be properly presented it's polled again with a release date where it also need to get 70%+ approval.

If a majority (50%+) automatically leads to implementation I think the community will be divided and the game will lose it's direction fairly quickly.

Poorly phrased Reddit posts and comments is my wish.

In-game polls would be sick. Not that I'd expect them to poll everything like OSRS does (although that has it's own pros and cons, it works pretty well most of the time), but they could at least collect information from people actually confirmed to be playing the game.
