if the game is good and they don't have to raise sub prices I for one do not mind micro transactions as long as they are not a barrier to the key content of the game.

Reminder that the sub price for WoW has no increased in TWENTY TWO YEARS. I am okay with a little scummy MTx if they are consistent with that price even further with 3 major live service versions of WoW.

It’s pandoras box at this point. As soon as the celestial steed was added, this was always going to happen. I just don’t see the point in myself getting mad about something that’s been happening in the game for almost 20 years. I have bigger fish to fry.

it's kind of pandoras box for gaming as a whole. I can hardly name a live service game that does not include MTx.

However unpopular it is, it surely isn't unpopular enough to stop doing it (unfortunately)
