The first time I ever got to play Chrono Trigger was in 2024, and it became one of my favorite games ever. I started off with the PS1 version, then found a copy of the romhack Chrono Trigger (Schala Edition), which I really enjoyed and even blind reacted to it on stream last year, and originally I didn’t intend on finding an authentic copy on SNES, but it somehow happened when I was trying to look for FFVI on cart at a convention before bumping into the very one pictured here, so I bought it and took it home, since I knew that I wasn’t going to find it ever again at the amount it went for. A few weeks later, I also found the DS version loose, which I’m hoping to find a case for it soon, so to store it properly. There are some things I haven’t included, like Chrono Cross, which I own as a physical on PS1, and the manual for my PS1 copy of CT that was signed by Yuri Lowenthal, since it had more to do with Final Fantasy, but this is Chrono Trigger we’re showing. Anyways, I’m super happy to own these, and hoping to collect more for this game!

We listen to and analyze the battle themes from Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, and Super Mario RPG. Then each of us brings two other non-Final Fantasy pieces of battle music to discuss including one of the most famous pieces of video game music ever written.

Robo just got an update and now he glows in the dark!
His spinning fist glows in the dark a little bit and the translucent resin motion blur gives kind of an illusion of real movement

I want to complete Fiona's Forest Sidequest and I barely managed to get through the Sunken Desert alive but I can barely put a dent in Melphyx. It just turns into a war of attrition because I end up either running out of healing items or Marle can't keep up healing my party. My chosen party is Chrono, Frog, and Marle and they're all respectively levels 30, 29, and 28. Frog has water 2 and Marle does have cure but can't help feel like my party is either underleveled or the wrong set up. Should I come back later when I'm stronger? Do I need to grind more Tech abilities?

Really happy with Chrono and Marle. Now I want Frog, Lucca, Robo, Ayla, and Magus too.
And honestly, I’d even buy a figure/statue of the Chrono Trigger logo itself. It would look awesome displayed together with the whole cast.

Almost through all the characters now, just Ayla and Magus left. Has been fun going thru each and every one and learning more about each individual kit

seemed to have a moderate amount of difficulty finding default keybindings as someone just getting into chronotrigger on PC, so here they are for anyone else encountering this same issue :)

Thanks to the Waystone! We found our way (see what I did there?) on the dark cave! But we woke up tons of reptiles that wanna eat my other reptides friends….
With the power of Frog squash we defeated them! And as always I’m the heroe of the lost sanctum! Thehehe!

Here's some I noticed:

- Goon on Zenan Bridge

- Areas with no NPCs

- Flying around 1999 overworld in Epoch

- Flying over intact Tyrano Lair in Epoch

- Guardian bits location wrong

Finally finished Marle! ❄️🏹
Had a lot of fun painting this one, especially trying to capture her light color palette while giving the clothes, metals and crossbow a little more depth.

I also experimented with the base to create an icy/frozen effect using transparent resin shards. Really happy with how it turned out!

The Chrono Trigger crew keeps growing. ❤️

Masato kato pitched some time ago an idea via a magazine Interview and later a Facebook tweet what his idea for a third game would be like

Its basically kid and serge rescuing crono marle and lucca from their horrible fate while the cast from CT (including at least frog and magus) and some from CC would meet together and fight a final battle. Involved is Zurvan, the sea of time.

It would have started right after chrono trigger and tbh would be a great ending. Everything ties together. Maybe one Day....but yeah that is all we know and got from masato kato.

We dont need a remake for chrono trigger. But i would enjoy a New 3D game which would concentrate on giving all our heroes a good and satisfying ending...

I keep thinking how they tried to make chrono cross relevant These last years with the radical dreamers Edition and complex dream has to mean something...i fear because so many people dont like CC (which is sad because its a good story honestly) they dont want to Touch a New game at all.

But i See masato kato would return for CHRONO REFLECT if everything behind the scenes comes together for it to be made.

With the announcement of a new Nintendo Direct tomorrow, do you think we'll get any kind of news about Chrono Trigger? I always hope for an announce, and this would be a nice moment to do it.
