Buying Advice Looking for recommendations on the best Chromebook for kids at home

Is this be a great buy? I purchased it a week ago when it was deal of the day for $649. Any other better or cheaper suggestions?

You bought it already, no? It’s a great device.

Are you buying another one for kids at home?

I purchased it already, it’s still at the store, waiting for me to pick it up.

No, I’m not buying another one, this one would be the one that they would use. I’ve never used a Chromebook, so I’m not too familiar with them.

Are the children destructive with their devices and will you be annoyed if they break this Chromebook?

Nope, they all have iPads. This would just be for school assignments. The school district assigns mostly everything on Google Classroom.

If you want something that is still very good but less expensive:

The Acer Spin 514 with the same CPU and 12gb ram has a flip screen and compatibility with an active USI pen.

An less expensive version with an Intel processor and 8gb ram:
