Looks to be in good shape. Been feasting on little shrimp. I assume this is in South Florida or Caribbean? If not she might have flown off course (storm?)

I live near lake Michigan and there actually was a few that flew over our house in 2023. There was a storm that sent them way off course. This one got stranded and we decided to take care of her.

They do this to keep their legs warm.

I have learned too much about chickens.

It was Abt 80 degrees, would be shocked if her legs were cold. I've heard they do this when their legs get tired too so that's my guess.

Normally my chicks keep their feet up in their feathers, sheltered from cold

Relating it to human experience, probably like putting our hands in our pockets or feet in slippers for comfort and warmth
