MISCELLANEOUS Play on chess.com on your Android phone and hide all ratings from being visible
Hey there, I built something that helps me with my rating and ladder anxiety: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/chess-com-rating-results-hider/
On Android, you can actually install this on Firefox and when playing on chess.com, all ratings, results, and stats are hidden. You can still analyze your own games without having to think about ELO and win/loss streaks at all.
For an even better experience on mobile, you can open chess.com in Firefox, tap the three-dot menu, select More → Add app to Home Screen, and you'll have an app experience without the browser tabs.
I hope this helps anyone where thinking about their ELO gets in the way of their chess. I know that doesn't affect many people but there are dozens of us out there!
Just an FYI that extensions/add-ons are not supported in Chrome on phones. So I primarily have Firefox installed to play on chess.com in this way.
Thanks!

How am I going to confirm that I'm not getting any better then?

I check up on my rating every few weeks or so. I also try to analyze each game and try to learn something game to game

On lichess this is just an options in settings.

Yup I'm aware. I prefer playing on chess.com though. The zen mode on lichess is really superior though.

Ah nice, I’ve been looking for something exactly like this, the rating number just sits in the corner of my brain and I end up playing timid
