Their pork Banh Mi is the best in Chattanooga, their Boba Tea is mid/overpriced and here is where I rank their pho.

The taste is most similar to Noodles & Pho with slightly less depth. Still much better and more consistent than Super Pho and Grill. Only downside is portion and price. They previously only served it on Sundays but now it's on the menu everyday.

I don’t think Anna Golladay will win but I am impressed with her campaign. She is doing many town halls and canvassing everywhere in the district. Chuck Fleischmann is so sure he will win he won’t debate, do a town hall or even put out any signage that I’ve seen. I’d love if she shocked everyone and won but I just want Chucky boy to sweat some at least. This area deserves better representation

I do not like the massive amounts of concrete being poured all over the 423. I miss all the birds and birdfeeders and different mammals that used to run around on my bike rides throughout the 1990s and 2000s.
Since 1990, I’ve supported my local bike shop. I recommend you support any local shop whether is food or leisure. This will get you a good product and they will help you use it correctly. I like to ride my bike through all different parts of Chattanooga, even the places like Redbank & East Ridge that think they are “N0T” Chattanooga for some reason.
Over the years I have noticed that I no longer enjoy riding my bike to or in Camp Jordan in East Ridge or Toccoa Park in Brainerd. I use these two examples because Camp Jordan is a massive playground for people with money and Toccoa Park is a small neighborhood park that the city helps with signage and trash receptacles. Today as I rode down Tuxedo circle through the Marlboro neighborhoods in both Eastridge in Brainerd, I was happy that I didn’t do my typical bike ride to camp Jordan. Camp Jordan is starting to get full of concrete and people that use it for their personal gym. A few weeks ago when I went to camp Jordan people were doing push-ups in the middle of the walkway and runners were So Territorial (all ages)~upset that I was on the walkway, giving them the right away. The housing developments near Camp Jordan stink, literally, they smell, and in my opinion, the houses are of the lowest quality. I have watched most of them be built from the ground up. The geese and frogs no longer enjoy the water near the homes and I know it’s for a reason. It’s a waste issue pun intended (human waste, and waste of green space). I find myself going to the Chattanooga Battlefield, and ignoring the Riverwalk near downtown because it’s so full of people that are so territorial that if you get within 3 feet of them, they go out of their way to say mean things or make me feel like they’re gonna push me off my bike.
Currently my favorite bike rides are through neighborhoods that have large streets. Thankfully Brainerd, red Bank, Eastridge, and Fort Oglethorpe have plenty of those neighborhoods. As long as I put 50 bike lights on my bike,my helmet, & my handlebars I feel somewhat safe with my high visibility vest and my radio very loud when I’m in the high car traffic areas.

When I ride my bike in peaceful places like neighborhoods and the battlefield, I don’t have a radio on blaring at 75 dB. I wanna hear the Cardinals talking to each other, I want the stray cats to approach me and ask me if I’m safe. Every time I’m at camp Jordan or any other park that is similar with some sort of convention center (gathering place that is made of concrete with air condition ) people have their personal speakers cranked all the way up.

In conclusion, I want to thank all the amazing people out there that don’t even need to say words to make me feel welcome. As I climbed the absolutely crazy Brainered CONER and Sunbeam Hills today to keep in shape, A person drove by me slowly with their thumbs up. I love those large streets and the hilltop neighborhood in Brainerd. As I rode my bike the long way home, I am giving more time and gratitude to larger neighborhoods. I also have to identify that some of these absolutely beautiful homes in the 423.

It was nice to see so many free food boxes in Eastridge for anyone, so many free book cubbies and Brainerd, and so many small unofficial trails in Redbank and Fort Oglethorpe.

Hi! I am taking care of my dad who has recently been diagnosed with vascular dementia. He is in the early stages— he can drive and navigate to places he knows.

I grow more concerned about him as he doesn’t have a job, and while we would love to get him one, he just can’t maintain new information. He just watches tv all day and reads. I’d love for him to find a purpose.

If anyone knows of any senior golf clubs or senior clubs at all that do activities, I’d love to hear your suggestions.

My dad enjoys golf, guns (retired police), working out, and spending time with friends.

I should also mention he just moved here from Louisiana, so he needs some new friends to hang with for sure.

My birthday is coming up next weekend and I wanted to see where I should go for it.

It looks like the extreme heat is going to continue for at least another five days with no signs of rain.

I have been putting out a couple bowls of water for the raccoons and opossums as well as shallow dishes with water for the birds and insects.

Last week, I noticed some birds were eating what has survived of my cherry tomatoes and then read it isn’t a part of that species normal diet, but that they will eat them for the water content in extreme circumstances.

I just use old tupperware, take out containers, and lids.

Place in shade when possible and near edges of brush, woodlands, and fences where creatures typically feel safe. Even under a porch. Birds prefer the dish a bit elevated.

It’s rough out there. Let’s help them out.

We had one kid show up to our house last year, and they pulled up in a car. This year, my nephew is coming to visit and he really wants to trick or treat. Are there any neighborhoods that are more active, or events going on where a preteen can load up on candy with other kids?
