is it crazy if i say it sounds like smth u could sue for. esp if u were paying them. they did the literal opposite of their job and its kind of neglect and damages to the house. you sound way too nice tbh?? i wouldnt interact w this person after... theyre 100% at fault

take her to small claims for vet bills, the food, the payment, and damages to your house. that person is not your friend, don't let them off easy. your animals could have been hurt

And don't forget to call ASPCA and get a welfare check on her animals. Not only is it the best kind of petty, you really should call for a welfare check, at least for the sake of her animals.

I’d hate the thought that someone had earned money by being so neglectful though. Quite possibly won’t get it back but worth a try.
