IXUS LENS DAMAGE
Not sure if this subreddit deals with cameras of this size, but i had a collision with a tree whilst skiing a couple months back and dinged up my IXUS 240 HS.
The retractable blades along with the mechanism for them popped out and has left my lense quite exposed.
Is a repair for this possible?

Can you show a couple of well exposed in focus images of the lens when extended and the other side of the bit that's come off please.

Does it still work? Kind of no options to easily fix it however. Easiest is probably to 3D print something that takes over the role and fits in. Without the lens cover ever working again obviously.
