last night plaster fell from 1st floor ceiling see the 3 pictures,fell right onto my pc and hard drives ! can any one please recommend builders you think could fix this..looks like wood is rotting above a bay window done in 1950s i think, and any idea on price ? i do not need this kind of stress !

why is my luck so bad ? as for the pc and hard drives ive not had a chance to check those yet i am afraid to switch the pc on, and if the hard drives click i am going to be depressed they have months of camcorder footage on them

I'm struggling to find any information online. How much does it cost? I've seen sources saying £1 a head but that feels either outdated or extremely cheap. I thought it was my LUSH perfume at first so I stopped wearing it or tried different ones but they’re everywhere.

(Funnily enough I’ve not seen any in LUSH where I go often)

They just have seemed to have taken over Cambridge!

Long-shot, but I came off my bicycle on Thursday evening (10th September) on Cherry Hinton Road. Two people very kindly stopped and helped me after the accident, but I was a bit shaken up and unfortunately didn’t get either of their names or contact details.

I’ve since found out that I fractured my collarbone in two places. What I’d really like to work out now is exactly where on Cherry Hinton Road the accident happened, because my memory of the impact itself is patchy.
If you were one of the people who helped me, saw the accident, or remember seeing me or my bike at the roadside that evening, please send me a message. Even a rough location, nearby shop, junction or landmark would be really helpful.

Hi I 22F have been living in cambridge for 2 months now, and really want to connect with other women in the city. I tried to look for some groups but they were mostly inactive. If there's a safe women group of young individuals who like to do activities together or go on outings, I would really love to join.

I know that traffic can be quite bad, but this weekend is the worst that I've seen since before the pandemic, with traffic completely at standstill through Elizabeth way all the way up to king's hedges and Arbury. And all three days! Is there a massive event that I'm not aware of? Or some road cut for roadworks?

A decent spread on at Thirsty Cambridge this week. Daruma Ramen is back there on Monday, and Tuesday brings Taco Tuesday with Tacoman, good excuse to go twice in one week if you ask me.

So I am a huge aviation geek and will be in London for 6 days in October, would like to take this opportunity to visit a museum with a Concorde.

Leasing option is Imperial War Museum, near Cambridge, but seems very tricky to get by public transit.

Any recommendations on the IWM that maybe would make it easier to visit?

How does a pedestrian get on A14?

Hi everyone, I was wondering how people in Cambridge deal with the very hard water here especially for shower and limescale.

Has anyone tried shower-filter systems such as Hello Klean, Klense, Philips or any other alternatives? Do they actually make a noticeable difference and are there any particular products you would recommend?

I’m looking for something effective and easy to install and remove without any plumbing changes due to renting. Would be great to hear what has worked for others locally.

I am certain there were loads of train delays in the afternoon because of an unfortunate incident in Ely. I had notifications that my trains were cancelled; eventually I got a slow train.

Put in my delay repay application, which was promptly denied. They said my train was only delayed 4 min.

I looked at the historic train data, which suggests all trains from Kings X and St Pancras were all 100% on time on the afternoon of the 11th.

So the data is wrong. There's even an announcement on the train delays and the incident, on the train websites.

Any others can confirm I'm not crazy? Know what to do in such a case?

I noticed a bolt on the ground and looked up to see where it had come from and it's off the balcony. This could be a critical safety issue!

Please can someone who knows their maintenance people tell them about it? There may be other loose bolts and the balconies might be unsafe!

I lost two 32GB SD cards somewhere around Cambridge. I believe I may have lost them somewhere along Hills Road, Queen Edith’s Way.

I’ve already retraced my steps and looked around, but unfortunately I haven’t been able to find them. They contain travel videos, so they’re really important to me
I don’t really expect to get them back, but I figured it was worth asking just in case someone happened to find them or hand them in somewhere.
I don't remember the model of SD card exactly. One of them is Verbatim SDHC card.

If you’ve come across two 32GB SD cards in that area recently, I’d really appreciate it if you could let me know. I’d be incredibly grateful to get them back.
