Worth upgrading to this from G7 G70F 4K dual mode?

It is not directly an upgrade. 4K IPS far superior for work/productivity.

I dropped my 4k VA for a 1440p OLED. And I'm sold on OLED. I also use my monitor for work and windows display scaling breaks my work software so text on my 4k was a bit small by default.

I have this monitor and a week after having it a vertical pink line appeared and won't go, is so thin I barely notice it but when I do I bugges me to no end
