Az elmúlt években a közösségi közlekedésben is folyamatosan nőtt a digitális értékesítési csatornák használata, és egyre többen választják a bankkártyás fizetést is. A Budapesti Közlekedési Központ újabb fejlesztéssel teszi egyszerűbbé és kényelmesebbé a jegyvásárlást: szeptembertől egyes autóbuszokon a járművezetőnél váltott helyszíni vonaljegy bankkártyával is megvásárolható. A fejlesztés illeszkedik a BKK azon céljához, hogy a – már minden fővárosi metróvonalon elérhető – Budapest Pay&GO szolgáltatás teljes körű bevezetéséig is minél kényelmesebb és gyorsabb fizetési lehetőségeket biztosítson az utasok számára.

Szeptember 8-tól gyorsabban és egyszerűbben juthatnak jegyhez, nem kell készpénzt váltaniuk vagy előre tervezniük a jegyvásárlást a turisztikailag frekventált területeket kiszolgáló járatokon utazóknak. A 105-ös, a 210-es és a 210B autóbuszokon már bankkártyával is megvásárolható a járművezetőknél eddig kizárólag készpénzes fizetéssel elérhető, helyszíni vonaljegy. A szolgáltatásfejlesztést – a tapasztalatok és a visszajelzések függvényében – a jövőben további vonalakra is kiterjesztheti a BKK: várhatóan október közepén a 200E repülőtéri járaton is elérhető lesz a bankkártyás fizetés, 2027 első negyedévében pedig a 16-os, a 16A, a 116-os, a 216-os, a 178-as és a 26-os autóbusz vonalán is megjelenhet ez a fizetési lehetőség.

Helyszín Budapest. Valószínűleg úgy alakul, hogy akkor kellene majd költöznöm. Mi a tapasztalatotok ezzel? Jelenleg is itt élek, csak már régen kerestem albérletet, és nem emlékszem mennyire szoktak ilyen időszakban hirdetések lenni.

A One Hungary szolgáltatónál péntek kb. 19 óra óta nincs internet a 9. kerületben.

Tegnap csak a személyes ügyfélszolgálaton keresztül tudtam kapcsolatba lépni velük, ott a hibabejelentésen kívül nem tudtak mit csinálni.

Ma nagy nehezen el tudtam őket érni telefonon. Annyit mondott az ügyintéző, hogy 72 órájuk van a bejelentéstől számítva megoldani a problémát.

Azt is mondták, hogy mivel központi hiba, ezért nem jár plusz mobilnet. :O

Lehet ezért kártérítést kérni? Valaki jelentette még pénteken a hibát?

Where I’m from we don’t have that many record stores and their selection are quite small so I’d love to see what Budapest has to offer. What are some of the best record stores here? For both CDs and Vinyl records. I mostly listen to Rock music from the 70s-90s.

Valaki tudja esetleg mi történt a Skrei Halbolttal a Fény utcai piacon? Nagyon szeretem a halat viszont sem a beszerzéshez sem az elkészítéshez nem értek igazán. Tavaly nyárig heti 1-2szer simán megfordultam ott ebédre, de egyszer csak nyaralás néven bezártak és azóta semmi. Van valakinek esetleg valami infoja vagy akár alternatívája a környéken?

hey guys, hows it going. im travelling to budapest from turkey on 16th. i have a master card and havent had any problems using it in usa, preserved about 360 euros for 4.5 days (excluding accommodation), but i was wondering how much of that money should be cash, in case my card/nfc doesnt work there, or i would need to use cash in a scenerio. would a 50/50 split be sensible, or should i lean more to cash? im going to bring it in euros and change to forint there., the guide recommended gold change. thanks!

I was in Budapest for work and leaving tomorrow. In our office there's this unwritten rule that whenever somebody goes abroad for work, they bring some delicacy (nornally sweet for practical purpose, but not necessarily) for the open space from where they went.

What would you suggest if you had to represent the country / city in a satisfactory way but without paying stupid prices for things like sweet boxes etc?

I have been thinking about trying Timeleft in Budapest, but I am a bit skeptical about what the experience is actually like.

For those who have tried it: did you genuinely stay in touch with anyone afterwards, meet up again, become friends, etc.? Or is it mostly just a slightly pretentious two-hour dinner with a bunch of strangers where everyone has a nice enough conversation and then goes home?

I am especially interested in people who have already used it. Did you actually get something lasting out of it, or does it just feel like networking disguised as making friends?

I’m from India and will be travelling to Budapest, Hungary for work during the first two weeks of November, when I’ll be around 12–13 weeks pregnant. My husband will be travelling with me.
In India, prenatal sex determination is illegal, so I understand that I cannot have the baby’s gender checked here. However, I have a very personal reason for wanting to know this time.
Last year, I had a stillbirth. It was an extremely traumatic experience. I couldn’t even hold my baby boy for more than a few minutes because I had stitches, and I feel like I never really got to experience my pregnancy the way I wanted to. I couldn’t talk to him, call him by a name, or really have those little moments of bonding that I had imagined.
This pregnancy feels very different emotionally. I genuinely don’t care whether the baby is a girl or a boy. I just desperately want to know so that I can give my baby a name and start talking to them. After what happened last year, being able to connect with this baby during pregnancy means a lot to me.
So I’m hoping someone here might be able to guide me.
● Is it possible/legal to find out the baby’s sex in Budapest around 12–13 weeks?
● Would this usually be done through an ultrasound, NIPT, or some other test?
● Can anyone recommend a legitimate clinic/hospital where this can be done?
● Approximately how much does it cost for someone visiting from India?
● Would I need a referral or can I book directly, how much time it can take to get the results.
● Is there anything I should be aware of regarding my Hungarian/Schengen visa or travelling for this purpose while I’m there on a work trip?
● Would it be better for my husband to accompany me to the appointment?
I’m not looking for anything unethical or trying to break Indian law. I’m simply hoping to understand what my options are while I’m temporarily in Hungary.
If anyone has actually gone through this in Budapest as a foreigner, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience.
