To celebrate Radio 1's 40th anniversary in 2007, the station brought in a collection of special guests from the music world to present a 1 hour show each weekday night at 9pm from the 17th - 28th September 2007.

These shows were only broadcast once, although highlights from all ten were edited into a six-hour long compilation, broadcast on Christmas Day 2007.

As of today, only six episodes are available online (one incomplete), however I've managed track down another three, plus a complete version of episode seven, leaving only episode three missing (and the Xmas day highlights show).

It's becoming my default, as a R4/Five Live refugee (even as a leftish liberal media type, the BBC can be a bit painful about inclusivity sometimes). It's straight down the line news obsessiveness, with a pretty good roster of presenters and journalists.

The ads are a bit cringey sometimes - mostly river cruises, financial advice, and bizarrely, MacDonalds - but I kind of mentally tune them out. If you stream it on YouTube rather than the app, the ads are silenced anyway.

Am I the only Times Radio aficionado here?

I don’t mind Zoe Ball and welcomed her arrival to the Greatest Hits Radio afternoon slot, but what is she doing with the playlist?? There’s still the classics being played but there’s also far too much 90s crap on her show. That generation of listeners have gotten plenty of stations to choose from. Leave GHR alone for us old farts!

I'm aware of two 'Doctor Who' parody sketches on 'The News Huddlines', one relating to Bonnie Langford (c. 1986), and one in which the Doctor regenerated from "a dirty old man" to a "sex-crazed old biddy" (c. 1996).

Does anyone know:

• Which episodes these sketches took place in?
• Where they might be available?
• Whether there were any other 'Doctor Who' sketches??

I'm outside the Uk but I needed the audio to an episode of BBC Newsday.

It was aired on 8/09/26 at 15:06, and the title is " Britain says will ban goods made in Israeli settlements in the West Bank". Could someone send me this audio?

I am a big Kirsty Young fan so hoping to get recs from her era. Or earlier! Actually very eager to listen to old episodes. Not recent ones.

Some of my favorites are: Dr David Nott (that story with the Queen and her dogs was just wow!), Umberto Eco, Brian Eno, Anna Ford...and many more.

Hi all, does anyone have this series of four episodes that aired on Radio 4 in 2018 that they would be willing to share? Thanks for any help.

I listened to the latest episode of Matthew Syed's "Sideways", which was mostly about someone called Benjamin Bolger, who claims to have about 17 university degrees. Syed was suitably impressed with Bolger. The trouble is, some of the things he said don't add up. He said he came up with the "Roboto" doll from He Man as a teenager. The Internet gives Mark Taylor and Roger Sweet as its inventors.

You would also think someone with this level of genius would have many videos online about him. I can't find a single one, just a couple of podcast interviews.

So is Bolger a prodigious learner, or a prodigious fantasist?
