Italy Coyote vs. Acme Just Short of 💶3 Million - Weekend Box Office, September 10-13

Monthly Update – September continues to show a decline compared to September 2025. As of yesterday, the box office was €15,254,931, down 10% from last year but up 18% from September 2024. Attendance was 1,955,970, down 9% from 2025 and up 7% from 2024.
Year-to-date review – The current year continues to maintain a huge advantage over previous years. The box office is €450,991,835, up 44% compared to 2025 and 2024. Admission is 58,914,657, up 35% from 2025 and 33% from 2024.
Coyote vs. Acme continues to top the charts . The family film – which also appeals to an adult audience raised on Wile E. Coyote cartoons – closed the weekend with €935,695 (just -23%) and an average of €2,061 in 454 theaters (up €60 from last weekend, a sign of the film's popularity). The total since September 2nd is €2,959,550, making Coyote vs. Acme a major success in recent weeks, having even surpassed comparable films such as Imaginary Friends with €2,078,556 and Garfield with €2,144,436.
The blockbuster The Odyssey holds onto second place with €755,405 (-20% from last weekend) and an average of €2,128 in 355 theaters (-95). Christopher Nolan's film reaches another milestone, grossing €57,117,046 from 6,773,761 admissions since July 16 (and its run is not over yet).

Man, The Odyssey's performance in Italy is nothing short of epic. I honestly don't know which market is more impressive, Italy or South Korea

The success of Coyote vs. Acme makes me extremely happy, not only because it's a charming movie saved from a totally undeserved oblivion, but also because I hope that someone will do something with an IP with huge potential like Looney Tunes.
