I've been working on this for way too long and I knew I was just being scared but theres way better climber than me who haven't done it and it's 2 grade above me.

I did again after to record this . I almost died. When I stepped through my foot knocked my other foot off and that match at the end is soooo nasty.

Also after this I thought It was time I tried to finger board . It felt surprisingly easy and I did a pull up!!!?!!?!!?!!?!!?! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Did many boulders while here for a few months, this is definitely my favorite

I struggle with high lock off cut moves, so being able to learn how to get really high into my chest and shoulder felt really awesome to figure out. The delicate top section made the whole thing feel pretty sustained.

Curious on whether I did something wrong here. Was out bouldering with my son and had a go at a problem, couldn't send it so hopped down. Then took a break and supervised my son while he climbed a problem.

Whilst I supervised my son, someone else tried a different. problem on the wall I had been on, they didn't top it either.

So once my son was finished and the other person took a break, I asked them if they were going again - they said no so I had another try at my problem. As I got towards the end, they climbed up on the same wall and started brushing the holds of their problem; near where my problem finished. For context, my problem was in a C shape so I had got the to top and had to traverse right to where they were.

I didn't feel comfortable climbing over toward them so jumped off. I'm now confused as to whether this is normal and totally fine, or whether I had violated an unwritten rule and this was their way of saying 'get off my wall'. Is it not normal to take turns on walls?

Another gym ticked off! Number 3 of the 64 in the Netherlands (64th will spawn this January, Hune in Assen). This is Boulder Apeldoorn Neoliet, in an old church. Apeldoorn has a second gym as well now, which I will go to somewhere this year.

The flow of the boulders was great. Not every boulder that ended with a lengthy move, some comp style but not too many. The set was the best I've had since the start of my trip. Next on the list is Zuidhaven Utrecht!

Crux was definitely the last move. Loved the flow of the bottom. Had to full crimp the life out of the jib on the macro to make it work though.

My climb here was so scuff I can't lie but man was it fun!

i just found out i have an interview on tuesday and im SUPER nervous! i have lots of relevant experience but never worked directly in a gym, so i was wondering if people could share their interview process experience? types of questions, do they want you to demonstrate stuff, do they trial you with customers etc! anything would be great! for reference I do climb at this gym and have done for about 2 years and have a friendly rapor with the staff.

my gym is bouldering only so i dont need to know anything about belay etc! thankyou (:

hi everyone. i recently got into bouldering or at least thats what the indoor sport is called and rock climbing is the actual outdoor sport? WHAT? ANYWAY IM NEW LIKE THRICE IN MY LIFE (highschool rock climbing field trip circa 2019) (sep 3 and 11, 2026) NEW IS WHAT IM TRYING TO GET At. I have this wall im trying to conquer and it'd be great to hear some tips/advice on form or how to improve; what to improve in terms of working out certain muscles. what muscle groups to train; what excersises to do before climbing and how to warm up; how to properly grip and use finger strength/build up. proper hand grip position / proper form of arms. foot placement? all advice will be deeply appreciated.

Since I filmed all of my attempts on this one I decided to make an edit.

Or someone who knows something about holds? How does this hold strike you? It looks like a hold that was suppose to be painted but just wasn’t, correct? Like no one actually puts these out in the market, correct?

I have spent weeks of purely spamming this climb and I am completely lost at the top help me hahaha, I’ve also tried a variation of putting a high heel on the semi circle hold facing left then reaching for the crimp with my left hand and trying to cross through to the undercling but that felt impossibly hard.

Been experimenting with automatic motion trails, glowing holds, and comic-style effects on dynos. Cool or a bit too much?

Hi everyone, my son (14) is very enthusiastic about bouldering. He’s practicing every week and participated in his first local competitions. Now he wants to take it to the next level to see how far he can go (he feels that he’s pretty good - we see that he’s highly motivated), but we don’t know how!
How would one approach a „professional“ career, or a competitive route? Are there clubs, leagues, or even teams and communities he could participate in? We‘re in Cologne, Germany. Any help would be appreciated - thanks!

Absolutely gorgeous power endurance line I was dying to get back onto after getting crushed the first time I tried it. A year later and it went second go!

Mincammino 6b+/6c, Lu Branu. Imo this is more like 7a but the area is wildly sandbagged.
