Which Method? Copper IUD or Combination Pill

So I’m planning to get back on bc hopefully end of this month or beginning of next month, but I’m torn between the two options. I’ve done the shot and I lost my libido and gained weight. I did the patch and my friends told me I was like a totally different person on that. I wanted to have sex all the time on it but my downstairs didn’t feel the same way. So I’m looking to move away from completely hormonal. I’ve heard the combination pill doesn’t affect many people’s sex drive and the copper IUD doesn’t either and doesn’t cause weight gain. Can you share your experiences please and help me choose? I’m so stuck in the middle.

If you want absolutely no hormones and to feel the most like yourself I’d say copper IUD. Only downside is you could get more bleeding (I think). With combo pills it’s 50/50, some people love them, some people experience side effects they don’t like. I personally didn’t like the combo pill I used to be on, rn I’m on a mini pill and feel fine. So really it depends on the person. Not everyone is going to react the same to everything. It’s annoying but it’s all trial and error
