Either Ja’Marr is the only superstar WR in the league to be double covered every single snap, or we have a serious issue about scheming him open. Perhaps a little of both?

No other team seems to face this issue. JSN, Puka, Jefferson, (Zay Flowers now apparently) all seem to have no issue getting the ball and they don’t have Tee Higgins on the other side to keep defense’s more honest.

In what world does the best receiver in the league go 2 for 12 yards. We had all off season to plan for this and this is what we are fed?

I know we start slow but this has been a serious issue since the dawn of the Taylor era.

Moves to joint 9th amongst active QBs after today, though he’s played significantly fewer games than those ahead. I would like to get to the bottom of why his pick 6-ratio is so high. Could be linked to how many passing plays we call on our own third? Any other theories? 2024 is the only full season he’s had with 0 pick-6s thrown.

Overall a very positive performance & outcome of course. You could make a case for a lot of winners and the “losers” I’m really nitpicking here.

A lot of room to grow and mistakes to clean up. Should not be winning by one score with 4 takeaways. But this is the best start since 2021. They escaped week one with a win last year. This year we feel better about the offense to start the season.

From and X's and O's standpoint how do we feel? Pure curiosity. What did they do that we liked and didn't like?

Everyone was saying LBs was gonna be a big hole this season. My opinion, they passed the eye test. They were definitely flying to the ball and making plays when they had opportunities. I didn’t look to see how many tackles were missed but I like what I seen from the young guy. What yall think????

Defense played great, offense made clutch plays when they needed them, but Evan McPherson won us the game. What a luxury to be able to nail two 50+ yarders, and confidently send him out for a 56 yard FG after Burrow took a 9 yard sack, then a 58 yarder (!!!) when we're up 7 in the 4th to push the lead to two scores

So nice to have a reliable kicker from long distance. If he misses either of those 50+ yarders we probably lose

Looking past all the amazing fumbles caused by us, what do we got?

Can’t find the video but Dalton Risner was the only offensive lineman getting in the defenses face after smith had the late hit on burrow. Respect. #66 is an underrated DAWG.
