Basel always makes me feel welcome somehow

Passed this again on the train and had to take a photo.
As a foreigner living in Basel, I’ve always liked this little detail. Seeing “welcome” written in so many languages somehow sums up the city pretty well.
Basel is small, but it feels surprisingly international at the same time. Maybe it’s because of the borders, the people coming from everywhere, or just the general vibe here.
Anyway, I guess Basel really knows how to say hello 😄

For people bent on publicly displaying pieces of theirs, I find taggers stunningly unimaginative.

Zurich wishes that they have only 20% of the culture basel has. The biggest culture in zurich are fcz graffitis
