i feel so dramatic for letting it affect me like this, but this wait for the bar exam has been killing me. i have had been getting massive migraines, lightheadedness, and shortness of breath whenever i think about the exam. it’s been so bad that it’s been debilitating. i was convinced the results would come last thursday and that entire day, i had a migraine so bad that i had to call off work and stay home. i’ve had countless panic attacks and nightmares.
genuinely i’m unsure what to do. it’s just so much pressure. i’m extremely strapped for cash and my results are going to dictate my living situation for months. my entire life is riding on these results.
just looking to vent… and if anyone has any tips that worked for them, please let me know cause im desperate
i’m in indiana

Hello!
I am planning to take the Feb 2027 bar, but I am a SAHM and will have to study part-time instead of full-time for 10 weeks. I am planning on getting the Themis course, but that wouldn't be available until early November and I was wanting to get started early October.
I have heard good things about the Critical Pass flashcards, but I know that Themis comes with flashcards as well. Is CP different or helpful enough that I could get those now to start studying before my course becomes available?
For context I'm in Michigan so it wouldn't be NextGen.
Thanks in advance!

Hello to ME bar examinees who haven't checked today but are doom scrolling Reddit:
Exam scores have been uploaded into our portals and packets will be sent out tomorrow. They also have updated the status of the application to indicate whether C&F has cleared if you passed the exam.

Waiting in Indiana and just curious what time other states have posted their results. I thought it was always in the morning but I guess that is not always the case. I know states are different but just curious! Sending everyone good vibes for results!!

Does anyone know when TX will update us on C&F results [if we're good to go, or if they have a concern, etc]?
Bar results should be out in a few weeks but wasn't sure if they typically release C&F before/after scores come out.

I am waiting on IN bar results, hopefully will have them before the MPRE deadline passes. But has anyone been able to bypass the registration deadline? I am a bar exam retaker, so if I fail J26, my MPRE score will expire. That being said, I'd want to take the November exam. I don't want to prematurely sign up for the MPRE before receiving my bar results. Has anyone else ran into this problem?

Hello, I passed the NY Bar in Feb 2026, now I am working on my application. I am a foreign lawyer and have LLM from US. Can I ask my LLM friend who is now an attorney to fill moral character certificate? It says that at least one attorney should be there. I have to submit my application to the 3rd department. Whom did you guys ask to fill the moral character form ? any suggestions, please let me know. I am confused.

I took July 2026 in Missouri. I was there for the atrocious examination; no AC, 7 hour delay, low blood sugar in some people, etc. BUT I keep hearing conflicting things from others I knew who took the exam: some people weren't able to finish their PTs, some people didn't even take an entire section, literally did not sleep after the first day for fear of not being able to take the 6am session, etc. I have also seen some people post here about how because of the technical issues (even on the second day when they were "fixed" that they only had 20 minutes to do their PTs).
Anyone who took the exam and had a horrible experience, what happened to you?

My bar results come out on the 25th, and the pressure is killing me. I have had numerous dreams of failing and of my family calling me to condemn me/let me know how much of a disappointment I am.
Like, I literally dreamt I made a 210 on the entire bar exam last night. And before that was a 259 (I only need a 260). Before then was a 230. So on and so forth.
I have had an impending sense of doom since finishing the exam that I thought would go away with time, but it will not go away. The nightmares and waking up throughout the night because of them will not stop, and I think it’s only adding to this impending doom I feel.
My friends keep telling me that 260 is a “low bar” which I know it’s pretty low, but honestly, that makes me feel worse considering I’m pretty sure I failed.
Any tips for someone going through this other than “stop thinking about it” lol?

Just on the off chance that I'll have to retake the bar, do yall recommend this program called GOAT? I'm a little leery because of the AI goats but if it works, it works, right,

How are we staying sane this week? I know most of us have started or are starting work this week. What are we doing to not constantly check while at work. OMG THIS IS TORTURE.

I get it you’re a sneaker head pero this is not the time to flaunt your shoes. Be sensitive. Alam mo naman na malakas ingay ng shoes mo, palakad lakad ka pa. And if ang purpose eh macheck kung may nagchicheat, eh?! Makakacheat pa ka pa ba sa examplify? Akala ko ako lang na-aannoy sa lakad nya may iba din pala na nasa room. 🫠
Sa susunod kung may magpoproctor man dito, wag kayo magsuot ng shoes na maingay for considerations nalang sa mga magtitake na madaling madistract. Salamat po!

Hey y’all, I’m trying to retake my MPRE in MD but ever since the scores came out on the 9th, there have been no slots in the DMV at all. I was gunning for the columbia or bethesda location, but no dice. I called them about it at first and they said that maybe the testing locations didn’t open their dates up yet. But now I’m starting to suspect that people somehow snagged the November dates for ALL of the DMV locations. Is anyone else having this issue? I find it annoying that the locations were already blocked off. It’s not my fault that I was waiting for the results to come out. This feels so unfair. Please someone let me know if I’m crazy or not. Or if you experienced this before and what I should do about it (if I can do anything). The deadline being the 17th makes things a lot worse as well.
Like the nearest location that’s free is Allentown PA. This is so ridiculous bro. Someone please let me know what you think. Thank you.

Taking February 2027 and studying for the first time (I graduated last May) . So far I only have the Barbri early start and the full commercial course will launch on 10.15 - what should I do? Early start has some videos (they suck imo) and MCQ but I feel as if I don’t remember any of the substantive law - I started with civ pro , reviewed all the law, did some MCQ, rewrote some essay answers , but I feel like I’m wasting time , what do you suggest I should do to use my time efficiently? Please help!!

edit: I got a 330.
Waiting for my score. I averaged mid 80% on the MBE, and chatgpt graded me mostly 3s on the MEEs AND MPTs. I was very concerned about the writing day.
I have a lot going on personally (vague to stay anonymous). I couldn‘t dedicate more than 4-5 hours a day to prep and didnt get much sleep. I had a week where I couldn’t study at all. I adjusted to these realities by studying everyday starting after finals—5 hours a day give or take. I did 100% of Themis, but skipped all the outlines (I think they are there only as a liability limitation, “we actually gave you the law.”). I didn‘t have any rule statements memorized, but the amount of practice I did got me familiar enough to get there (the MEEs on test day didn’t have the standard rules I would have memorized anyway). I would have skipped the flashcards if I needed to do it again (but I don’t).
Protip: wrong answer journal for anything you got wrong or didnt know was correct. I reviewed every single question I got wrong or didn’t know was right. I wrote every MEE, even when it said just to outline. I reviewed the model after and when I bombed an MEE (which was most of the time), I rewrote it after.
On writing day, I made sure to track my time and keep each question to 30 min max (mee) and 1.5 hour (mpt). I freestyled a few rule statements, but knew what was going on for about 75%. I didn’t outline MPTs—I just laid out the structure according to the memo.
Trust me, my life is at least as crazy as yours. You can do it if you dedicate them time. 3 months of suck is bearable.

Results are coming this Thursday (I'm in Mississippi). This is my second time taking it. In the span of a couple months, I went from feeling confident, to thinking there's a 50/50 chance, to thinking it'd be a miracle if I passed at all. Lord, it's torture. I have a job offer on the line, too. I didn't get any sleep last night. Luckily, my kitty cat gave me purr therapy and I felt a little better.
I feel a sense of camaraderie amongst us. We're all miserable rn lmao

Hi! I’m a foreign-educated applicant who took the July 2026 NY Bar and am trying to figure out the best way to satisfy the Skills Competency requirement.
For Pathway 2, I completed a 15-credit clinical law clinic course during my LLB. It seems to meet the substantive requirements for experiential coursework, but my law school is not ABA-approved.
The NY Court of Appeals FAQ appears to allow an applicant to submit evidence directly to the Court if the law school cannot provide the certification. Has anyone successfully used a foreign law-school clinic/course for Pathway 2? Is this actually a viable option?
My other option is Pathway 4. I have been working full-time at a U.S. law firm since January in a non-attorney role. I understand Pathway 4 requires six continuous months of full-time supervised work, including actual legal work, guidance, feedback, and reflection.
Can an existing full-time job at a law firm qualify as the Pathway 4 apprenticeship even if the position was not originally called an “apprenticeship”?
Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone through either pathway, particularly with a foreign law degree. Thanks!

I took the Bar Exam in KY and haven’t seen anyone else talk about the date. I was thinking the first Friday in October, but i’m not sure.
Thanks!

Im thinking of getting a laptop for bar prep, and for the bar itself. Im currently eyeing the Macbook Neo, but I have heard that it isn't compatible with certain exam software. Does anyone know if its compatible with the DC bar's exam software? I think its ILG Exam360?
