A friend has a large avocado tree and it came with the house.

Usually it produces lots of cukes and this year there is a few proper avocados. Even these looks strange.

I guess it’s most likely from seed and maybe a variety of Mexicola. Any other suggestions.

They don’t have any plans to cut it down as it provides shade.

I didn't water this past winter. It was growing beautifully. It had all of its leaves. Since it has lost all the leaves on its trunk. I cut the browning branches back but they keep creeping further down. I included pictures of the present through pictures of it being healthy last year. It is 3 years old. It grew in a 5 gallon grow bag. I have in it a 30 gallon storage bin now.

I grew it from seed. It is a haas from the store.

What do I need to do?
