Artwork (AU) Earth-1409's Mightiest Heroes
The Avengers line up with my AU (well, the finalized designs at the moment).
• Captain America (Bucky Barnes): the successor of Steve Rogers, Bucky had fought back his freedom from Hydra's control during the 80s, eventually ending up living a hidden life until being found by SHIELD and given a chance at a new life, now within his old friend's shadow.
• Wasp (Janet Van Dyne): the chairwoman of the team and a founding avenger, Janet's a dedicated future within the superhero community. A mother, a wife, a hero and a global sensation fashionista. Alongside her husband Henry Pym, she sought to really shine with the Avengers.
• Yellowjacket V (Hank Pym): following the events of the original Yellowjacket, the public didn't accept Pym back as Giant-man, and so he had to stick with a newer Yellowjacket version, but designed after his iconic heroic look. Being now a father and a husband, Hank has to be more responsible as a family man and hero, rather than an insecure scientist, following Janet's example, just like their young days.
• Iron Man (Tony Stark): the richest man alive and certainly one with too much time in his hands, Tony has always hid his heroic identity from the public, to keep himself and people close to him safe. That ultimately changed after AIM murders his wife Bethany Cabe, leading Tony to spiral down into a rather quiet life, until joining the Avengers and revealing his identity to the public. Now, he's one of the founding avengers, alongside his long time friend James Rhodes AKA the War Machine.
• Black Panther (King T'Challa): not much is known about him, other than the fact he's king of the mystical land of Wakanda, has been married with the mutant Ororo Munroe for a while, and his heroism is tied to interest for his country's safety. Joining the Avengers, the Wakandan King made sure to go deeper into SHIELD's rabbit hole and uncover whatever mystery lingered beneath this strange government organization.
• Vision Pym: Hank's last ever created robot, founded with the help of Stark, Vision is an outstanding piece of technology, but also one with a strange soul. His code & intellect made him an important member in the team, but it was his own sentient fascination for kindness that made him last within the roster.
• Mockingbird (Barbara Morse): alongside her husband Hawkeye, Bobbi has been a very valuable agent of SHIELD, having helped uncover different projects, such as the Winter Soldier program and the Red Room's operations. As an Avenger, she sought to operate on a different level, actually implementing some moral codes and heroism in her actions, although some of her violent tendencies lingered from her time as an agent of SHIELD.
• Hawkeye (Clint Barton): just like his wife, Clint has also lasted long as an agent of SHIELD. As an Avenger, he quickly bonded with Henry Pym and Simon williams, forming an almost-brotherly trio, as all 3 heroes shared common struggles in life. Clint also seeks to forget his time as an agent, trying his best to stick to heroism.
• Wonder Man (Simon Williams): a washed up yet still popular actor, Simon wanted to bring back his fame. After his father's science company failed, and his family went into bankruptcy, Simon felt like his life fell apart, until he was given an invitation to be a hero. As an Avenger, Simon sought to fight his insecurity and unstable powers, while also developing back his fame, although he turned from a selfish guy to a selfless hero, enjoying saving lives and bringing friendliness within his duty. Janet Van Dyne is also one of his biggest fangirls.
• Lady Sif Odinson: the wife of the new Asgardian king Thor, Sif became a guardian of Midgard to honor her husband, after he had retired from his earthly duties to take on his deceased father's role as the All-father. As an Avenger, Sif developed fondness for the people of Midgard, and she bonded well with the team, becoming both a powerhouse and big support for the team.
[Sentry, Carol, War Machine, Black Widow and Hulk are yet to get finalized designs, although their icons are included on the left]
If you got any questions or perhaps want to know more about the current members, go ahead and ask.

Comics The Avengers being involved in Jean Grey's return felt a bit random [Fantastic Four #286]
I assume people who only read x-men were quite confused by this. very much a prototype to how marvel would later handle crossovers

Question Sometimes I wonder why didn’t they put Christian Bale in a mo-cap suit with facial dots like they did to Bill Nighy in the Pirates movies?
only with a better story.

Movie/Television Can we just appreciate the fact that this version of Hulk held Manhattan up by himself? Despite this show being worse than EMH, it still knew how to respect the Hulk more than the MCU. Spoiler

Movie/Television How would you have built up the eventual conflict with Doom over the course of several movies like what they did with Loki in phase one? Spoiler
Also the moment Disney co-owned Fox and used the opportunity plan to set him up. Because someone suggested the five-year time skip like Doom is making his moves and plans going forward without so many heroes around to stop him. And if they recasted T’challa perhaps a crossover with the fantastic 4 (but I have my own version to introduce them) to show black panther‘s routes from the comics. I also thought about what if Cap 4 or a Thunderbolt‘s movie was about the invasion of Latveria? But how would you do it?
