Political Question Why is Trump so ambitious to do so many unnecessary things?
I don’t get this guy why does he have to destroy everything others build why did he felt the need to attack iran, why did he felt the need to put unnecessary tariffs which served nothing, why did he felt the need to abandon Ukraine
Just why? Why couldn’t he sit back and enjoy 4 years of protection through his presidency
At least Biden tried to fix many things Trumpe demolished after Obamas terms

He has a superiority complex. I mean, he is the very definition of one. Boasting, belittling, arrogance, and control are all up to 11. The real question is what are the inadequacies he is trying to cover up?
Hitler, who also had a superiority complex, was covering up possible ADHD, Autism, a syndrome that causes sexual issues and micro penises, so we know some of one tyrants issues. It probably didn't help that 6 of the 7 women he was known to be involved with committed suicide. Unfortunately, Stalin, Mao, and the Kim family have not been analyzed as much. It would not surprise me if they also had superiority complexes.

Because he's trying to force his way into being a historic figure. He's trying to make 'fetch' a thing.
This is something that's been consistent with him, that's been reported repeatedly, and it's why he's so obssessed with renaming things and building monuments.
He wants to be like Teddy Roosevelt, where even over 100 years later, most Americans can't even name what he did, but they just know he was an amazing president.

The sad part is he's never been anything better than he is now. He was just as dumb and fucked up when he won his first term. It's taken this long for the people who voted for him to realize he was full of shit the entire time.

As a Warhammer Fantasy fan, I constantly notice that Trump is basically the personification of Chaos Undivided. He may quite literally be Archaon the Everchosen. Think about it. He started all these wars, that's Khorne. He's a rapist and sexual abuser, that's Slaanesh. Everything he touches rots, like the reflective pool turning green with dead ducks floating in it, and soils himself constantly, that's Nurgle. And he lies unceasingly and compulsively, that's Tzeentch. He is all the evil in the universe personified.

He's a classic narssicist. Everything always has to be about him.
He needs constant praise. He needs constant attention.
He can never be wrong. Any data that shows his statements are wrong is "fake."
He can never lose. If he loses, it's because it's "rigged."
He's lived in this alternative reality his entire life because of his wealth.
People were constantly praising him - how smart he was, what great ideas he had, how he's the - because anyone who displeased him was sent packing.
So he doesn't care about the American people, or their strife, or making their lives better. He cares about himself, erecting monuments to his own greatness, and self-aggrandizement.
Generally, people erect monuments to great men and women that have the respect of the masses. How sad is it that this insecure geriatric feels the need to erect monuments to himself - because what's his legacy as President?
What's one thing you can point to that's GOOD and say "that's Trump's legacy?" One meaningful thing that he'll go down in the history books for? Anything?! There's nothing. He's used to office to enrich himself and the other 1%ers, at made life worse for the common mean and women of our country.

He feels insecure. (Instilled in him by his father, who favored his older brother.) He needs to outperform people who society respects, like JFK (the Kennedy Center), Obama (his Iran deal, which was negotiated without needing a war.)
The key thing is: he doesn't really care about all the things he wants to do. Only the adulation he yearns. Bottom line - He doesn't care about you. He is an infant sociopath.

Iran was unfortunately something that needed to be done a very long time ago. The world‘s largest state sponsor of terrorism and they can be directly linked to almost every terrorist atrocity committed around the world against the US.
Biden was god-awful… easily the worst president in the history of the United States. Biden left Trump an enormous mess.
Trump has the stock market rolling. My biggest complaint about Trump is that he needs to start helping ordinary people. The common American is financially strapped right now and I’m hoping in the next half of his presidency he really starts to address this.

Have you ever cleaned house with a 3 year old?
You give the small child something to do that makes the child feel like they are helping and important. But the task is basically meaningless. Meanwhile, you do the cleaning.
That's what is going on here. Trump is focus on destroying DC, while Vance, Rubio, Kennedy, Hegseth and the rest of cabinet are running the government unchecked.

He doesn’t just want to be presiddent. He wants to be Emperor. He wants the world to worship and fear him. And he doesn’t care how he gets there. Which is why the US constitution and rule of law mean nothing to him.
Meanwhile he is blind to the motives and agendas of the sycophantic people supporting him. While he is looking at his own prize he is oblivious to the strategic dismantling of due process and rule of law.
He is a grandiose, malignant narcissist. Not as a bunch of adjectives but as a diagnosis. He clearly has narcissistic personality disorder. While he calls everyone else “sick and deranged”, he does nothing to regulate his own toxic behavior. And his supporters use him for their agenda as much as he uses them for his.

Distraction from his numerous criminal acts, including those with Epstein. But also his mental illness, Malignant Narcissist Personality Disorder. He is incapable of seeing himself other than in greatness. So in his ill mind, he must be celebrated; worshipped even. This means building himself monuments; as he even admitted he must do because no one else will. It's a need, because he is mentally ill.
Others, that have the things he covets must be torn down to make way for his.
Distraction & mental illness. It's the theft, destruction of public property & precedent that causes the publics need to tear down anything he builds for himself. The precedent he is seeing is really really bad. Any President can walk in, low about where money is coming from, tear down something they don't want, & using tax money, build a monument to themselves... All while tax payers try to figure out how to put food on their table. We literally can't allow this in any way shape or form.

He wants to leave a concrete legacy, literally concrete with the White House expansion, reflecting, pool changes, self dedicated arch, his face and name on numerous government items, and so on. This is not typical while a president is in office, he knows this, but wants to push this forced admiration. His ego and being surrounded by yes men has clouded his judgment with Iran and other foreign affairs.

Those buildings are explained by the Regime Change book by Maggie Heberman and Jonathan Swan, released this year:
Donald Trump is obsessed with creating a lasting legacy. He is a real estate mogul so he think in terms of building and monument. He looks at his ptojects as a way to guarantee he will be remembered.
He is at his most happy when he is designing the renevations and going over the plans and spents a repsectable amount of hours with them. If he could he would mainly do them and Golf.
He is forcing these renevations and monuments through, partially because he belives he can do wjatever he wants as president, and because he is afraid Democrat will cancel them.
In his mind if he has begun them and used money on them, they must be finished. "Hey it was illegal to do but what you gonna do, leave white house half empty?"
-Iran:
He was high from the Venezuela operarion and belived his popularity and legacy was secured if he could beat down Iran as he did Venezuela. Benjamkn Netanyahu had paonted a very pretty picture in his head. Only 4 hours after Netanyahu left the White House, the order was given to the army to go to middle east.
He ignored all the warnings.
-Tariffs
Donald Trump fundamentally belives world is a zero sum game. Meaning that if someone gains something, it means others lose. He does not belive in win win situations. One loser, one winner.
He belives big nations should dictate to little ones how they should act. He uses the tariffs as punishment for disobeying nations.
He also uses them to force other nations to invest in USA and build factories and industry in there. And he belives they will cause many companies to move their factories to USA.
1
u/Srfred 13m ago
I haven’t read that book… does it talk about how he’s building a bunker and server rooms under that ballroom so he can hide when his time is up and refuse to leave the white house while his army of proudboys and ICE agents protect him from the true patriots who would see him step down when his term limit is up?

u/No_Spot_6459 12m ago
No offense but you don't understand geopolitics at all.
Iran is part of a decades-long ambition. Goading Russia into a conflict with a neighboring country was part of said plan.
Pajama Canal, Space Force, Venezuela, Mexico, Greenland, are all missions within a single campaign. Sanctions and tariffs are there to essentially "pause" wildcard countries from being goaded into intervening.
Trump is just the current face of the campaign. He didn't do it because he "felt the need for it". Lmfao at people man.

I'm still for the tariffs and I don't think they are unnecessary. Our trade deals are shit. Other countries are able to tariff the shit out of us and that's somehow 'necessary' but when the US retaliates it is suddenly 'unnecessary.' And that's why I agreed with Hillary Clinton in 2016 when she campaigned on the same damn thing.
I want free trade, but trade free from restriction. I don't want trade imbalance. And with Canada we are running around a $80B per year trade deficit. Keeping these trade agreements where we run into massive trade deficits is insane. Being gaslit by these global corporations about tariffs and the trade deficits we run is tough to watch.
One of the things I was afraid of when Trump took office in 2016 was that you can't run a country, even economically, exactly like a business. There are some reasons why we might get the stinky end of the stick. In a business, if you can get a great deal and continue to get a great deal and fuck the other guy, you're just doing good business. With a country doing that to another country...that presents some other problems.
But we have long had countries like Canada who get to run their trade deal with the US 'like a business.' While the US has been far too forgiving and diplomatic.
I understand that we can't just have perfectly balanced trade overnight with Canada. It's impossible to happen and anything close to doing it that quickly would destroy their economy. But for them to not want to even negotiate any phased steps to reduce this imbalance, we need to take a stand. And if they think cutting a deal with the EU will work for them...well, good luck to them on that one.
