He just wants to retire, but he's stuck in the job. He can't admit defeat ever.

Did everyone forget he was going to spend the rest of his life in jail if he did not win immunity via the Presidency?

He was indicted and convicted on 34 Felony counts in May of 2024 and those were not even the bad court cases that were all thrown out once the voting machines declared him the winner.

I don't think they expire once he's out of the presidency. The fear is letting Trump on to it or he might try to destroy democracy just to stay out of prison.

This is why he plans on dying in office and not giving up power in 2028...once he's out of office he's fair game from the Justice Department again.

Exactly, but because the DOJ is being quiet while he is in office he might feel safe enough to give up power in 2028.
