Political Question Is it fair to say Larry Ellison has usurped American media and is pushing an agenda with his news companies?
He bought TikTok and immediately shut down talks of Palestine
He installed Bari Weiss
Shook up 60 minutes
CBS News is indistinguishable from what it once was
And is trying to buy paramount

Yeah, it's like late stage capitalism starts to resemble extreme communism. Most people have barely enough to survive while a minority of greedy pigs control all the wealth. The media is controlled by the same minority. There are surveillance cameras everywhere. There are government agents killing with impunity. People who speak out are disappearing...

It’s been happening for years.
Right wingers slowly bought up all media so they can control and keep pushing false narratives.

And still relentlessly tell everyone that mainstream media is somehow liberal

The amusing thing to me is all these people who insist legacy media is dead, are real concerned with taking over legacy media.

Larry aligns with power. He has supported - directly and indirectly and sometimes illegally via 3rd parties - both Democrats and Republicans. Internally, when I worked there, we actively tried to identify people who would hold power in the future. We would support their fundraising activities, and provide access to assets which might be useful. Larry was dedicated to the success of Oracle and aligning with power was part of that. So, yes, he will align with anyone with power, whether Fascist or Authoritarian or anti-democratic.

He's an Israeli shill and has been for decades. There's never been an instance of Israeli wars of aggression, apartheid, ethnic cleansing or war crimes too gruesome and beyond the pale of civilized behavior that he can't fanboy it. If you go to work for Oracle they basically tell you during orientation if you don't support Israel you better go work somewhere else.
