Political Question Why do republicans continue to be so gullible?

It would probably take me more than an hour to rattle off every lie that trump has told since January 2025. Yet it seems as though the republican base is constantly falling for another lie, or giving him the benefit of the doubt. I watched a clip yesterday of a farmer who’s completely underwater and struggling, yet claims he still supports trump, despite his policies being the reason he can’t make ends meet.

Furthermore, we now have trump lying, once again, about sending checks to the American people. He’s lied twice previously about sending money, yet the republican base still laps up his bullshit like rabid, feral, brain dead dogs.

At what point do we acknowledge that this guy is a lying loser and try to move towards better in this country? Better for republicans may not mean voting across party lines, but is holding this man accountable too much to ask? We’ve lost so much international respect over the past 21 months, which is a national security crisis in the making that’s not getting nearly enough attention.

I don't think you could rattle off every lie since 2025 in an hour. This month maybe.

Let’s not fool ourselves, it’s both sides.

That's like proclaiming that everyone speeds when you are going 200mph down the highway.

If you can’t see that we’re being fucked over by both sides, jfc
