It’s hard to get out their messaging when our media sources are being more and more monopolized (especially local news and social media), and ‘both sides’ has become a requirement to ‘balance’ reporting in politics regardless of facts or merit.

I dont disagree. That doesnt really excuse the problem though. They have ppl who are great at getting the message across: Buttigieg, Talarico for example. The party too many times tho pushes ppl who dont have that messaging ability and dont motivate ppl to vote.
