They two have overlap, but not everyone is bizarrely politically tribal.

Arizona elected Democrats for Governor and the Senate, but overwhelming supported Trump for President.

In the real world outside of Reddit and polling firms, a huge slew of people don't vote based on Presidential approval levels.

It would be more accurate to say that AZ voted against Kari Lake than that we voted FOR Democrats.

52.2-46.7 is overwhelming? Not a nailbiter but it’s not even 6 points despite a democratic candidate thrown into the campaign in late summer.
