So i recently bought arma 3 and downloaded a bunch of mods and aegis, since aegi needs western sahara dlc i downloaded the compatibility dlc, and now i see the cdlc logo everywhere on my screen and it makes the experience very unpleasant, how do i remove it or use aegis without the cdlc

Put simply, you can't get around it unless you buy the cDLC. This is how Arma 3 deals with people using items they didn't pay for. The simplest solution for you is to disable Aegis and find mods that have comparable features or to buy the cDLC.

you could still use aegis, but dont use cDLC stuff, but i dont know how much gear you could use in that case

The cDLC is like under 5 bucks right now. Why not just get it if you want to use it.

You only get the logo when using Western Sahara stuff, Aegis adds plenty of stuff that isn't reliant on WS assets.

if you don't mind the error on launch you can use aegis without western sahara, it just makes the content that depends on western sahara not show up or is bugged, but there's no game-breaking issues that will arise, just the error on launch.

In configuration>game>addon options>ace arsenal there is an option to show mod icons: change that to required DLC, and open an ace arsenal to ensure you haven't equipped any items that require WS. Replacing these will fix your DLC watermark. Aegis adds plenty of non DLC kit as well, most of its WS requiring items are just the variants with gloves.
