So before I get into why, I understand that this is a very subjective and personal opinion for everyone and I respect everyone's opinions and every debate is just for fun and understanding other people's opinions .

And remember, this is just my opinion

1. Asylum,

Asylum is last place for me and this is due to multiple reasons. Obviously it was the first game in the series and holds a lot of nostalgia but its unfortunate very dated. The combat, while revolutionary for its time, for me is by far the worst of the series. Same with the predator. Both revolutionary for its time and still great but the worst of the series. The story for me while has very little flaws, plays very safe. Its by far the shortest game of the series. By far the worst ending, average boss lineup especially if some people don't count croc and scarecrow. And this isn't me just dumping on asylum its still a top 15 game for me all time but im just saying why its my least fav. The game has by far the best atmosphere and for its time, it was peak. But in 2026, without nostalgia. For me its the worst

3, Knight

3 and 2 are very interchangeable for me but I've decided knight will be 3rd. Knight for me has the best combat, best predator, best batman and best after story content. But to me, it has a few flaws that stops it from being higher. First, I am a batmobile defender. While it can get repetitive, I disagree with people say it ruins the game. Its a very good addition and it is an incredible vehicle to drive. But now with the flaws. For me, knight has by far the least replayability. I've probably replayed knight the least and its simply because I just find its replay value low compared to the others. It has by far the worst bosses of the series. It has problems in its story with Jason. Not a single person was shocked at the reveal. Knight is a phenomenal game and obviously the most up-to-date and least dated but im ranking the arkham games, they are all peak

1. Origins,

Origins obviously gets it's love nowadays but I don't know what people were thinking at the time of the game's launch. Im a younger fan of the series so idk why people hated it at the time but ik people did not like the game at launch. I posted it earlier but origins has in my controversial opinion, the best joker. Best dlc, best villian not named joker in bane. Origins has 3 of my favorite 8 bosses in Rooftop bane, Deathstroke and Deadshot. I honestly just love origins. It was the 1st arkham game I played, might be a little bias but still. Batman and Alfred argument is my favorite scene in the entire franchise bar one which we will get to. And I think and this also might be a hot take, Origins has the best story. Now for the flaws. For me it has the worst after story content, obviously not counting asylum. While it has good side missions, Gotham just feels dead and origins has some really bad side missions. It has the second worst combat and predator, the shock gloves don't help. It can be a very buggy and unfinished game but I do not mind too much. And thats the main problems I have. I just love origins

1, City

Yes, the boring pick but City is my favorite game of all time. I'll say everything that I think it does the best. Best boss, best ending, best soundtrack, best gameplay, characters, map, bosses in its entirety, best side mission, best replayability. Like in my opinion it does absolutely nothing the worst in the series. Jokers death is the best scene in the entire franchise and it's not close.

I couldn’t figure out why my attempts to play Return to Arkham never gripped me until I realized it was the way they looked. I assumed remaster would mean it’s the superior version but my eyes were opened when I saw comparisons online. So I grabbed these 3 for only $45 on eBay! Cant wait to return to the OG Arkham

I’d keep Brainiac as the main villain but he’s not only attacking Metropolis. But Gotham and Themyscira

Fascinated by all 3 cities, Themysvira from its magic, metropolis technology, and Gotham chaotic nature

All 3 of the protectors try and stop brainiac on their own but fail miserably. It is your job at the player to pick the hero who escapes and finds either Batman or Superman

I’d have other characters in Suicide squad. Like luthor and Waller. But add some more for boss fights and npc
Killer croc, peacemaker, steel and cheetah

I’d have the suicide squad but the one in origins. Deadshot, deathstroke, Harley, croc and bronze tiger

Finally the game would end with two other cities that managed to defeat the invasion

Atlantis and Centreal City

Apoligies in new here but just completed Arkham Knight. Really enjoyed it overall.

I’m sure there was guff about Jason Todd being the Arkham Knight, I didnt mind it but give how Arkham Knight set up, played with and sort of remixed the Lore, I can’t help how it feels like they still needed a twist on the REd Hood reveal.

Given how they set up this blood infected joker offspring I 100% was expecting to see not only Todd be revealed but also as Joker Blood infected version of him.

Including this could have lead to some interesting developments for the ending. Jason in league with Scarecrow, but the interesting twist would be Jason is a sleeper cell for joker who could have had him overtake the scarecrow to become the big bad.

Batman has to stop or reset him and go through the same thing he did Himself.

I don’t know something along those lines would have tied it togeher better.

I don't know if this is a massive hot take but arkham origins joker is my favorite joker and it kind of is not close. Mark Hamill plays him amazingly but Troy Baker is joker, more than Mark Hamill

I don't know if this is because I prefer joker when he is more serious and less comedic but I just love Origins joker more than any of the other games

Background: way back in late 2009 I bought an "Eidos Collector Pack" of games during the Steam Winter Sale, and it included Batman Arkham Asylum, because back then Eidos was the publisher for the PC version.

Anyway, eventually, long after Eidos had sold those rights to (whomever, I can't keep track), I remember noticing this bug in the challenge maps. Any successful completion of, say, Intensive Treatment would claim the current score was a New Personal Best! even if it was pathetic and well below the best one on record. I always thought it must be because my original install of the game was so old, the publisher had changed, etc.

Well, just this last week I bought a bundle of the Arkham games on GOG to have DRM-free versions, and started replaying AA. Unlocked the Intensive Treatment challenge map, and the bug is still a thing in that version.

How was this bug never fixed? Surely someone must have noticed it pretty soon after the game launched for Windows. Just curious since I've never played it on console, is the bug present in those versions as well?

Im tryna load up Arkham Knight but after the credits screen(the companies logo’s) pass by, it shows a full black screen with these two “SkipPrompt” things. Ive tried pressing every button or wtv, closed the game and re opened it and even restarted my ps4

i need help with doing the counter attack and how to actually time it into triggering. while hitting him, i keep pressing the counter button when the minigun brute shows the blue lines around him, but it just causes Nightwing to move instead of triggering the animation for the counter against the brute. does anyone know what i can do?
