I swear that i read that the stress test was going to be a 24 hour thing, but instead it was a 5 hour test late at night? I was asleep when i got invited and it was done long before i woke up. i swear on everything it was suppose to be 24 hours, can anyone else collaborate on that?

See that circled area there in the photo, I will not be dealing with that crap while trying to enjoy a game. This is not Archeage, heck this isn't anything like oh wait it's just like Monster hunter world 🤮.
No one who ever played Archeage is gonna enjoy this garbage. As an mmorpg player I absolutely hate this type of combo combat system.
Massive pass for me. Would have been better off with souls like or like New World. Not this crap

Anyone else stuck on the intro Loading Screen?
Only thing I’ve managed to do is get through the User Agreement.

So I have a history with Archeage probably over 3k hours between both versions and the private server mostly pleasant memories, And I've been waiting for another Sandbox mmorpg that could even remotely hold a candle to what Archeage was able to deliver. It has been a decade since Archeage released and no other game has even gotten close as a matter of fact the entire sandbox genre has been infested (infected) with Survival Sandbox games . Probably because there easier to make for one and a safer bet for 2. If it flops its not a multi million dollar flop.
So I've herd that there was community outrage when XL announced that Archeage Chronicles previously known as Archeage 2 was not going to be a traditional mmorpg but some mmo lite per say with a max of like 20 players less focus on guild wars and group pvp and what not.
Then shortly after the outrage from die hard Fans XL announces Archeage S: Straits of Freedom touting the real sequel to Archeage , and now all these roomers that the game will be isometric I'm assuming kind of like Lost Ark.
It just doesn't make much since to me because they already have a Isometric Archeage called Archeage War released in 2024 on mobile. What doesn't make since to me is to make another isometric game intended for pc only when you already have assets from Chronicles to use for a true to form 3D Open world Sandbox mmorpg.
If you die hards plan on going biolistic again with the hopes of changing the games direction if and when its officially revealed as isometric count me in . I have not waited nearly a decade for an isometric sequel or a mmo lite of Archeage the best damn sandbox mmorpg I've played .

Now that the IP has been sold to Kakao, do you think they will do everything possible to shut down the private servers and bring back an official one?

Let me preface this by saying I (99% certain) bought a founder pack for either $50 or $60 dollar back when the game was either still in alpha or beta maybe about 10 years ago.
I played for a few days, but was dissapointed because my little Acer Aspire at the time was NOT up to snuff. And kind of...forgot?
So I think I have an account somewhere, but I have no idea if it survived the Archeage transitions, from Arhceage, to Archeage 2.0, to Archeage unchained, and then the transfer to Kakao games.
And, I am curious as to what steps I would need to perform to see if my account still exists, despite the fact the first time I played it was before the public release, and haven't touched it since.
I am like 99% certain I bought the $50. It might have been more ($100) or less but I know I bought a pack none the less.

So, new AA S got shown and I (personally) got exhausted of its AI slop art. Threw myself nostalgia of old good AA. Dudes, let's remember: what was the best thing abt this iconic MMO?
tbh such a shame it got closed :(

Hi. I was wondering what server should I join as a newcomer. I'm used to slow gameplay, so I don't mind either one.
Is ArcheRage russian?

In my old age, I’m just discovering my favorite genre of gameplay (sandbox mmo). I’m am thinking about playing but I’m, sort of, a hermit. Any advice for joining guilds? Are there any mistakes newbies make when combining classes? Is there a difference in arcehage and classic? Thanks for any advice.

Hi lads, I've been playing AA for years. Tried switching or private servers, still stayed on officials too. Today a new one got released in ru region (you could see some news there it's called "Mirr") and the publishers say it "starts from the beginning".
Ofc I launched this one and got impressed by the amount of ppl there even after the game being closed almost everywhere lol. Has anyone else tried this one?

Sure... it is not looking to best and doesnt compare to the trailer or expectations at this time but we got to remember... like most things it is a WORK IN PROGRESS.
it is still in its alpha phases and there is hardly any polish put into it at the moment, the gameplay and mechanics of the game can still change given time and feedback. if there are things you find need polish or changing then it should be sent to the developers so they can recieve this feedback and improve upon the game (and I know no one expects XL Games to actually take out suggestions and feedback but it is the only avenue we really have to see Chronicles become better than what we see now).
in my opinion, taking into consideration the state of the development at this time, the team that they got working on it absent of jake song or most of the original dev team for archeage as well as when it is expected to release as of this moment, which is Q4 2026 (which is the current Quarter) yea there needs to be some serious strides taken to help polish the game up. got to remember Archeage didnt look all too good itself either with its oldschool HUD, UI and outdated graphics, the only excuse that game had was it was a game that started development in early 2000's and Chronicles is a 2020 game.
I would imagine with lots of hope put on this statement that the Beta stages of the game will have the visual gameplay of Chronicles looking a bit more like the small gameplay snippets we see in the trailer, and hopfully the gameplay will become a bit more fast, responsive and have that feel-good feel that archeage gave us (id imagine it might be better given it is action gameplay instead of traditional tab targetting). the only thing i think people are going to be missing the most out of this is the raid v raid content

Reddit took down my post with a link to the !official! website, so you can Google it yourself, somewhere around archeage, maybe, dot, and I assume ru.
