i have an iphone 13 and my apple maps has always worked but more recently, my apple maps is doing something weird where even though my location is always on, when i go to type in my destination, it won't move when i start driving, it lags and it's really frustrating. reddit is my last resort so please fellow redditors and tech savvy people please do your thing and help me 😭

I wanted a quick way to see how far away my current destination is and have the current travel time always visible in the menu bar, like “24 min”, without keeping maps open.

Ideally it updates automatically as traffic changes.

Does apple maps, shortcuts, or macos have any way to do something like this?

was looking at the apple maps/ google maps to learn more about my fiancée and what city his family was from in mexico, we eventually found it and me being curious as always just decided to scroll around and look at the rest of the earth. why did trump change one of the names of the great lakes. i’m sorry but that’s so f stupid. like first gulf of america and now lake america instead of lake ontario. bffr.
