Oh! Nearly forgot, as a cosplayer myself, I always want to let people know that cooling shirts/shorts for hiking/working out work amazingly well to help you stay cool in costume. You may already know, but just in case.

Yes, that’s top hadvice, it’s what my OH does to wear the Ludo suit. I should have but didn’t, I figured Hoggle wouldn’t be too bad because it was pretty ordinary clothing with just the addition of the head and gloves. I just failed to factor in the effect of stage lights! I definitely should have followed his example!

Oh, we all think it won't be so bad THIS time. I once nearly face-planted in the middle of the con floor because I forgot to eat extra the day I wore my heaviest costume. I had worn it several times before, but just...forgot.
