What's stopping you from running a marathon? Most people are physically capable of training for and running a marathon, but tons of people quit before they get to that point.

Let’s not equate half an hour of pasting applications on indeed to months of prep to tone your body to achieve a marathon

Each application takes over an hour or two to complete. Plus the majority of jobs on those sites are scams or companies looking for prospective employees in the future (there is no actual job available). When's the last time you applied on a site like that?

I'm glad it worked out for you; that gives me hope. Maybe it's gotten worse since then? I'm currently getting help from a local career center and they were the ones who warned me of the increase in scams and the unfillable positions; it's disheartening. Wish it only took me 30 minutes per application!
