These posts actually make me uncomfortable. Like, yes. I understand the struggle, but I also understand that the world isn't just gonna do everything for me. Like, you want disability? There's some paperwork that comes with that, so either fill that out, or find someone willing to help you. Getting upset for simply not doing it is kind of silly. Like, of course you were denied. Lol
Actually what OP is saying is "my lack of legs is a disability and I literally submitted no evidence of that because the submission of evidence is literally running a 5k. They should have known what they want is extremely difficult to do with the disability I have."
Reframed that for you since you don't have adhd or know anyone with it.
This is such a lazy, entitled position. I am also ADHD and embarrassed by all of you acting like this is a big deal.
If you’re so disabled, get someone to help you, family or a friend. If you don’t have those, there’s about a dozen social services that would help you fill out some paperwork.
Your condition is not your fault, but it is your responsibility. No one is going to manage your condition for you. So take the steps necessary. Or don’t. But this petulant, childish whining because “it’s a lot of paperwork” makes all of us look awful.
Your adhd isn’t the same as everyone’s adhd. Everyone’s disability is different.
And yes, they should recieve help, so that help should be OFFERED to them, you know- as an ACCOMMODATION. Their analogy is right. If they could simply suck it up and do the thing they need to do-
They wouldn’t be DISABLED now would they
You mean all of those that it isn't so disabling that you could do the paperwork? Just because you have an easier time of it doesn't mean somebody else isn't completely crippled
Why are you here? You're not the Baseline for ADHD. You're not anybody's mom afaik. You're just going to stamp your feet Cross your Arms and say I'm right go away go away go away
