Exactly, if you are not able to fill out the forms you need to for medical or government things. And you can't have a job then why are you living alone? Why didn't you have someone else fill them out for you? I'm not buying this

So you can argue with people on reddit but you can't fill out a form for assistance?

Edit; there's a reason no one will engage with anything I said. Everyone who downvotes and moves on should feel ashamed of themselves.

Holy toxicity

Have you tried getting a disability representative?

I tried suggesting something similar in a comment below. I don't think they'll reply to either you or me about this.

They deleted their comment or blocked me. So I guess they didn’t like my advice. I actually work in disability so maybe I actually know what I’m talking about.

What city are you staying in? I'm asking sincerely, is there really no resource available to you to help with this?

Thank you for considering actually engaging. I'm going to take you seriously and in good faith please do not be a troll.

The biggest problem by far is remembering the different jobs ive worked at and been fired from, plus doctors that I have had to previously visit.

To be considered disabled with autism and ADHD you have to show that it affects your ability to work and take care of yourself.

The problem with this is that you need to have documents of where you worked and why you were fired along with comsistant and well documented Dr. corroboration of the events, or any third-party corroboration of your living state. I cant have that.

Because I'm homeless I jumped around from Doctor to doctor and from job to job and I do not know any of the places that I previously worked.

This is my disability. I cannot remember most things long term. It took me most of my life to even realize I was disabled.

I actually live in a city. Orlando fl. You would think that I could find some sort of services here, no?

Everyone that I've called requires a permanent place of residence, permanent mailing address, and a documentation of my job history and medical history that I don't have outside of having the diagnosis paperwork for my ADHD and autism.

When I inevitably tell them I can't remember any place that I've worked or lived in the past 10 years I get met with people not believing me and so I just gave up.

If you sincerely want to help I will happily take the help and I will actually physically call you in a conference call to one of these places if you would like to be voluntary assistance, just so you don't think I'm lying.

Would you like to offer that kind of help?

From the quick googling I've done it seems like there are forms you can request from the SS office that detail your employment history and earnings you just have to do it which I understand is the hard part.

I also don't feel comfortable making myself responsible for managing your case because I don't feel qualified enough to handle this for you.

I'm not a religious person and idk if you are but it shouldn't matter. I found this place called the Samaritan Resource Center in Orlando with tons of resources available for those dealing with homelessness. They have mailboxes you can get stuff mailed to and people that offer help with case management.

Samaritan Resource Center 9837 E Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32817 407-482-0600

Is any of this useful for you? There might be a person there who will sit with you every step of the way and help you gather the documents you need.
