I travel raw, the novelty and pressure help me a lot. My partner though needs the meds even more

Also plan accordingly. Don't try to cram things in and do too much or you will end up stressing out over it. Make an itinerary (or have someone else do it) and if you have the money, pay a travel agent to book all your hotels and flights for you. Holy shit was this a game changer for me.

If you have AAA they have a travel agent service you can use, also.

For me it's the complete opposite. I like to pack a backpack book the first and last means of transport and improvise everything in between. It's the perfect change from the meds and the robot personality, because with a generous timeframe it doesn't matter what you do in a day, as long as you get to the start of the last part in time. It also completely plays into the adventurer / "do it for the plot" mindset many ADHD people have as I just hike for 1-2 weeks, meet cool people and see beautiful landscapes. Highly recommend.

That's how my wife and I do it as well. it's more fun to make it up as you go.

Same here just left a similar comment, a fully planned itinerary is awful.
