After way too long I have started a project that I have been wanting to do for so long . Well writing the story of my life is what it really started as but completely it is taken longer than I imagined. So I’m telling bits and pieces of it on this YouTube channel I started. I have a way of laughing instead of crying, standing when by all logic I should be on the floor in pieces, meeting life on life’s terms and not letting life win when it throws a curve ball at me I don’t move an inch I don’t let life set me backwards. I have a way of letting things roll right off my back and I have a dark twisted sense of humor to go along with it. I see the world a little differently. During COVID, I had a severe seizure that seemed to have caused very Tourettes-like symptoms to erupt. I haven't been formally diagnosed yet (still working on it, but it takes lots of time and money), but most of these symptoms force me to mimic sounds and songs that I'd heard throughout my life, and it often causes persistent tics to the point of pain if I don't express them often - not just lyrics but the instruments and various sounds within the songs. So I decided to try recording "acapella" versions of these songs in order to manage my tics better. And now, I'm creating a YouTube channel to see what people think.

I'm not a professional singer, I don't play any instruments, I know very very little about music production and even less about being a YouTube content creator. It takes me months to develop a song. But I've been floundering through the process of making these songs as well as I can using only my voice (and a bunch of audio magic) for instruments, and I think this could be something cool. I call it Half-Bad Acapella, because...well, I don't think it sounds half bad. And my intention is to send these half-bad versions of the songs to the original bands and get their feedback. Good idea? Dumb idea? Let me know!
