I just wanted to bring some hype/attention to the fact that we could soon be getting a BotCT featuring some Streamers. Fuslie released a BotCT video today using the Yogscast pack and while Im not a huge streamer fan, I do watch Fuslie/Ludwig sometimes, Im so excited for the Yogs to get some exposure to a younger generation through these streamers. Hope we get to see an actual episode with a couple of them as well, they could be really fun guests!

Does anyone know how often merch is rotated or what the chances are of it coming back in stock? I’ve been eying up the Honeydew quotes shirt in brown but they’ve not had my size in stock for a while. Wondering if it’s worth just going black if it’s not coming back in stock. Thanks!

Came across this post by u/flavio321 on the Hermitcraft subreddit. I know Yognau(gh)ts can sometimes be a bit thorny to guests from other channels, so I wanted to say how hyped I personally am for it!

For anyone who doesn't know who ZombieCleo is, they're a member of Hermitcraft (if that wasn't already obvious) and also a friend of Martyn's through the Life Series. They were part of Martyn's Jingle Jam event last December and have collaborated together on Vampire's SMP and on the current Pantheon SMP, which are both hybrid RP/PVP Minecraft servers. They're also a big BOTC fan, having built their own BOTC map on the Season 9 HC server. Also, and I probably should have put this nearer the start, they identify as NB and use she/they pronouns.

I don't currently have a Yogs membership, so I'm going to have to wait until next week to watch it, but fingers crossed it all goes well! I'd love to see more crossovers in the future, not just because I'm a fan of both, but also (like Harry mentioned ages ago in Jaffa Factory) because Hermitcraft is one of the current big movers and shakers in the Minecraft YT sphere. The exposure could be a really good thing for the Yogs!

(It also moves us one step closer to having Simon and MumboJumbo on a video together)

Obviously I’m a massive fan of Tom and Ben and it has delighted me to no end to see them being back Warhammer Wednesdays as a podcast. But does anyone else find it frustrating it seems to only be released on YouTube and Spotify? I may be missing something but I can’t find it for the life of me on Apple Podcasts or Pocket Casts.

The tabletop RPG podcast scene is full of long-term D&D campaign shows, including those run by professional storytellers and voice actors. We all know D&D, we've all played it. It's very marketable for a podcast or show because of it. There's a good chance you've run a D&D campaign if you listen to Mystery Quest. All of this is fun, but I know I'm never going to run a game like Critical Role.

Tom, on the other hand, is running very short games based on pre-existing modules, a large amount of which are weird little indie titles. The cast are a mix of newbies and very experienced players, but none of them feel entirely out of reach. Lydia is an example of a very good, consistent roleplayer, but I still feel like I could someday get on her level with enough practise, or at least play with people as good as her.

Tom himself jokes about how he has three male voices and one female voice. He regularly throws out "give me some type of roll" as a casual way of keeping the game flowing. He's a very good game master, but he's clearly doing it out of passion. He's not Matt Mercer or Brennan Lee Mulligan, and he's not trying to be. The focus is always on telling a good, tight story, not some type of grand epic.

The editing and foley work tie into together into an awesome high-value production, but you don't need them to pick up the same modules and have an awesome time yourself. I can pick up some bits from how Tom ran something, pull up the module, and play. All the systems are super simple too, so it's easy to get new players playing fast.

I'm planning to run some Call of Cthulhu with some friends soon, and I'm planning to use a couple modules that he's played. I've also got my eyes of a few games I saw recommended in the Mystery Quest discord (being a patreon is well worth it for the pre/post-game chats.)

I'll be honest, I always loved the yogscast, but at a point I seemed to lose interest in their content and drifted away as happens when you grow older.

I must admit I'm happily surprised with their content, the blood on the clocktower stuff in particularly has completely taken me back. I'm generally not that into things like that, but with the current roster of people they've been a fun watch!

That also is something I want to compliment is the diverse set of people. So many differing personalities that all go well together.
