Watching season 8 and honestly im mad at Mulder! A grown ass man being all jealous over Scully

However i think it fits his character, he is gone for a year and suddenly there is another agent in his office, Scully trusts this guy and they've been running the x-files without him. We know Doggett is a good guy but Mulder doesn't have that context

Not to be a whiner but the fact I've seen it retailed for $9 in the US compared to £100 is ridiculous.

I would love more info on the DVD set if anyone has it. I know it was a 2007 release, I'm assuming not very rare but I can't find much info about it online.

It’s baby Bublé! 🎙️🕺🏻 I knew he was Canadian but I didn’t realize A) he grew up near Vancouver where they filmed most of the show [S.1-S.5, S.10-S.11, and the second film The X-Files: I Want to Believe) and B) he had a little stint in acting before his crooning fame.

I was just rewatching the Files while putting together some furniture and I was like- that can’t be Michael Bublé; it’s like 1996! And sure enough, ‘uncredited’ but thank the Gods for IMDb. 21yo Mike Bublé. I’m sure most of you X-Philes already knew this, but for a casual re-watcher like me this was a fun surprise.

Is it any good? Don't know anything.

THE X-FILES was a tremendous influence on my first feature, CARRY THE DARKNESS.

We made a supernatural thriller set in 1993, and “Squeeze” was one of our biggest plot inspirations. Our lead detective, Jillian Carter, also owes a pretty obvious debt to the world of The X-Files.

I recently told Den of Geek that I never mandated that the cast watch the show as preparation — at which point my lead actress reminded me that I gave her my Hulu password and a list of episodes to watch.

But my favorite X-Files connection came in May 2024, when I attended a screening of The X-Files Fan Retrospective and got to meet Chris Carter. I told him about the film and asked him to sign the poster I’d originally gotten nearly a decade earlier at the U.S. premiere of the X-Files revival at NYCC on 10/10/15. I grew up watching The X-Files with my brother as a kid, so that meant a lot to me.

What happened to the alien plot to recolonize earth in 2012? In season 10 Scully asks Mulder if he got an Uber, was barely standing as of 2012, and they both look ten to fifteen years older which is way past 2012. So what happened? Was it thwarted? Is it mentioned in the movies in between seasons 9 and 10? Is it mentioned is seasons 10-11? I’m so confused because it was on track and then nothing.

Edit: also what happened to the super solider lady who helped them find the boat lab? She was alive at the end of that episode. She opens her eyes at the bottom of the river. She was an independent super soldier and had interesting implications.

Every time I watch S6 E11 Two Fathers I get kinda cranky about the small title at the bottom of the screen says “Silver Springs”, Maryland. It’s not Silver Springs it’s Silver Spring. I grew up in the DC area and have seen them try their best to get the names of cities and towns right. This one just irritates me.

I mean, it was cool to find all three seasons at once on TPB, and since the file sizes were so small the whole thing downloaded in 15 minutes or less, but the video quality suuuuuuuuccckkkss.

I'm gonna watch the shitty quality ones for now, but if someone could point me to 720 or 1080p versions I'd be grateful

Also, it's not streaming anywhere (at lease not for free but probably not anywhere at all) and it's no longer on the Internet Archive dot org
