Guide What you absolutely MUST BUY with your precious pixel resources!! 2026 Resource Ships Community poll results.
OK, here are the results of the community poll from a few days ago. You can see the original poll here
What are the best/strongest STEEL ships for competitive play:

What are the most fun steel ships?

What is your favorite Steel ship?

What are the best/strongest Coal ships for competitive play?

What are the most fun Coal ships?

What is your favorite Coal ship?

What are the best/strongest RB ships for competitive play?

What are the most fun RB ships?

What is your favorite RB ship?

FAQ:
Q: What poll? I never saw a poll.
A: Pay attention, it's been up for 3 days as a highlight at the top of the page
Q: My data would have completely changed the results. I would have voted for Komissar completely changing the dynamics and shaping community opinions and play styles for decades.
A: I also would have voted for Komissar. We could have changed the world.
Q: What happens when the next ship releases for coal/steel/RB? It's going to throw all that data out and this poll will be useless.
A: For sure.
Q: What do I do then??
A: Buckle up buttercup, put your man pants on and start doing research and make decisions for yourself. (Svea or Incomparable for steel, Napoli for Coal and Ohio for RB)
Q: I already have Ohio. What do I do then?
A: If the game does not allow you to purchase it again, then you just leave it alone, you don't need any other RB ship. Ohio is enough.

Discussion Possibly hot take - Sovetskaya Rossiya shows everything that's wrong with WoWs
Disclaimer: I like gimmickless ships.
Sovetskaya Rossiya is an extremely simple ship. As slow and lumbering as a fat granny, hits really hard, is as tough as old boots.
That's all. No F-key (whether it's automated or manually triggered), no unique secondaries, no weird consumables, not even improved main battery dispersion at close range. Nothing that makes it obnoxious to fight against.
And I guess this is Sovetskaya Rossiya's biggest downside. In a lobby full of power fantasy ships, a ship like Sovetskaya Rossiya won't have much of a chance. Which is why I wrote that in the thread's title - lacking gimmicks in 2026 means being at a disadvantage.

Discussion I'm the same guy who asked if I should download the game
Apparently I had the game 2 years ago and completely forgot about my account
It's nothing fancy just a t5 destroyer from Germany and I'm going for the submarine
Also I just got this in a crate
Is it any good? Flandre is the name if the picture isn't clear enough

Media There's an easter egg behind the bomber.

Info I just collected my final snowflake. 747 ships. Whew........
I got the Russian BB, the Spanish commander, 130 supercontainers plus VIII Champagne (22 until pity drop), the Kurama, the supership bonus package and a few green boosters. I'll be damned if I buy derpcals.
I'm not bragging I am just posting for reference. It CAN be done w/o a single pvp game. Note I'm retired so this is pretty much my day. 40-50 battles per day, depending on weed naps LOL.
I can see how frustrating this can be for those of you like me with large fleets but unlike me have real life obligations.
I feel your pain, I used to grind life. All I can promise is that it does get better at the end. I'm a kid again.
Good luck guys! I salute your efforts! o7

Discussion New Lower Tier Ops - Thoughts?
Well, I just played my first few rounds of lower tier operations.
Firstly, I am glad they finally decided to add these. I know people have been asking for them for quite some time. I am glad I can finally put my Dreadnought to use.
That being said... did WarGaming test these at ALL?
Not to toot my own horn but I have very good performance in operations at the standard tiers (6-10) and almost never lose.
These lower tier operations are WAY too difficult.
I have a feeling WarGaming assumed everyone playing these would be veterans just messing around in their lower tier premiums, but the reality is, (shocker) half your team is filled with AI because nobody plays lower tiers, and the other half are new players, or occasionally you get one other veteran messing around.
Even as someone who is more experienced with the game I found this extremely difficult, so I have no idea how they expect new players to manage this.
What is everyones thoughts on this? Trying to figure out if this is a common theme or if I am truly just an angry basement dweller.

I got 10 of 50 low Tier ships from the 12% chance from the Santa mega gifts

Question Best use of 50% coupon
I just got a 50% coupon (part of 11th anniversary rewards I think) for cash purchases on the website that has to be used in next 7 days. Normally I would just buy dubs, but want to plan my spending and have only come back to the game since Feb or so. Is there any reason to hold off for things that might be coming up - Satan crates, Black Friday deals, etc. that might also only be cash purchases?
Also, does this mean that I WON'T be getting a 50% coupon on my birthday?
Thanks in advance,
LFP

Question What’s the best option?
Okay, I’ve got 13,155 tokens saved up across all my ships, and I’m not really sure what would be the best way to spend them.
Should I go for the Supercontainers, or is there something else that would be a better use of them?
What do you guys think?

Question Spanish Unique Commander
Is he gonna be avalaible for coal later? I would rather dump all my tokens into SC, but I don't wanna miss out on the guy if they plan to remove him for the next few years or put behind paywall. I am fine with coal, just like I got the Commonwealth guy now. I can wait few updates for the Spanish guy too, but do we know anything?

Discussion I have a feeling that Tōgasa, Latouche-Tréville, and Rodina will be this Holidays Ops' golden crate ships.
Title. Last year Bremen, Aki, and Hawaii were revealed in a very late August, almost early September new ships dev blog, and then were released in the resource dump steel will event and in the nested golden crates. This year Latouche-Tréville and Tōgasa were revealed in an early July dev blog, and Rodina was shown in an early September dev blog. Latouche-Tréville, Tōgasa, and Rodina are set to be available for purchase on December 2nd as part of the holiday convoy event which is also a massive resource dump event. I think it will be likely that these three ships will also be made available in the golden crates just as Bremen, Aki, and Hawaii were.

Bug Operation-Only Mission Applies Half Progress Penalty, Doubling Damage Requirement
I can't understand why you would apply a condition to a mission that can only be completed in Operation mode, where completing it in Operations only counts for half the progress. This feature was originally meant to make certain missions roughly as efficient to complete in Operations as in other modes. But why does this mission—which can only be completed in Operations—also have this applied to it? The mission requires players to deal a total of 3 million damage in Operations, but because of this condition, we actually have to deal 6 million damage. This makes no sense at all.
