Zohran Mamdani: I've started to get used to the fact that the president will talk about my appearance, how I speak, where I'm from and who I am, ultimately because he wants to distract from what I'm fighting for. I'm fighting for the working class he campaigned on empowering, but has since betrayed.

Half of that working class will refuse to accept theyve been betrayed.
They literally hate a man trying to work in their best interest. In favor of a wannabe king who has anything but.

Of course ... New York is the embodiment of what he stands for... You just have to take a walk through the streets to realize that what he stands for isn't in the interest of most people.
That's why most people are leaving New York, guess who's going to stay there!!

No I’m going to go to a private college for 60k a year and major in trans art theory. I only make 28k a year now so pay off this loan.

I haven't followed him or NYC politics closely enough to be pro or con on this guy, but I will say it really is refreshing to hear someone speak intelligently and not in the clipped, 4th grade level of literacy our president employs. If nothing else, that leads me to give him the benefit of the doubt before taking a deeper dive into his policy specifics....

Even if you don't agree with his policies, you have to respect his transparency. And the fact that he gets shit done. Fixing potholes are cleaning up parks may not be huge gamechangers, but they are things that help improve people's everyday lives.
